Our squad depth is appalling, a few changes and we can cope but any time we line up in a cup with the likes of Davies and Sanchez we get knocked out. Need to shift quite a few players. Less and less convinced about Skipp too, seems to be going backwards.

First time I’ve been a bit disappointed with Ange. I know we’ve got a big squad but that was a crazy amount of changes in a competition we had a good chance of winning. Was an unfortunate draw bit disappointed we didn’t seem to give it much of a go.

Well that’s a bummer. Not sure what big Dave was going taking a pen. But whatever. Start of journey and I’m sure won’t be the last pothole. Fair play to him for stepping up, but unfortunately he’s probably just given the haters more ammunition. I still quite like him. Looked like he had real potential when he first signed. Just needs to cut out the mistakes. |

I honestly think Ange just got a bit carried away because the first team have adopted his style so quickly he thought the whole squad could play that way. It was a rude awakening.

I think he massively misread the room in terms of what the fans wanted from this competition. With no Europe we had a good chance here, but not like that.

I think he also didn’t count on Fulham going so strong. They literally played their absolute best team which pretty much nobody does in the second round.

Casemiro having a competition with himself for best first time pass. Amrabat looks like the sort of strong, tidy and composed midfielder we need alongside him too.
Mount looking very good too, nice link up with the rest of the team. Pellistri needs to learn he doesn't need to take so many touches.
