Blade Runner Enhanced Edition is now out on PC, Xbox, PS and Switch.
Just checked on Xbox Store and it is priced at £7.99.
I know they say don’t go back but for that price, I’m tempted to give it a go, though not sure how pad-based play will fare vs. mouse/keyboard.

Tempted myself at that price, although I (much to my amazement) never playd it back in the day. I always meant to. Pretty sure my brother had it but I really can't remember.
Don't know if I've actually got the patience for these kind of games any more though.

I feel like I could actually do with something a bit slower paced. Keep trying to play other stuff and bouncing off it.

Can't bounce off Blade Runner. It's Blade Runner

Blade Runner is one of my all time favourite games. I remember watching my bedroom door for my mum to come up when I was in the strip club scene ha! I've still got my big box of it too. I'll probably get it on Switch as a nostalgia thing.

teletype.in/@icepicklodge/QC8lkECDPqZLooks like the Bachelor's route in Pathologic 2 is actually being made. Won't be anything like the Haruspex though. Guess that also makes it a bit easier for them. They were pretty unlucky to release Know By Heart when they did, given what happened just a few days later. Can't see many people buying Russian-made games at the moment, even though IPL made a statement against the war.

Also on announced games, The Tomorrow Children is returning and got a release date of 6th September youtu.be/Ah8GdZVW_34It was never really popular in its day but for some reason I ended up drawn to it and played a fair bit. I'm quite happy with the return

For anyone familiar with The Binding of Isaac, is Repentance better or worse than Afterbirth+? I know it's newer, but that doesn't necessarily mean better - Isaac seems to be one of those games that polarises its players, so each update (Rebirth/Afterbirth/Afterbirth+/Repentance) has its acolytes and its naysayers.
I get that this is all subjective, but if anyone can help me to cut through the b.s. and understand a bit more about the different versions, I'd certainly appreciate it!

Did anybody yet play Rush Rally or the new remaster Rush Rally Origins on Xbox?
Looks nice from the trailer and a budget price too. Might give that a punt.

Hmmm.
Skate 4 will be called (imaginatively) "Skate" and will be free to play with no pay to win microtransactions and no pay walling of maps etc.
What's the catch? I mean, it's EA. There HAS to be a catch...

barchetta I only played the mobile version of Rush Rally (I know, I know) but it was defo one of the better rally games on mobile. I even completed it which is a rare occurrence for me on mobile. If this one is made by the same ppl (some English bloke IIRC) I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. Also there is a demo on Steam, if you can try it.

barchetta got RR Origins on the Switch, great game if you like overhead racing - much preferred it to Art of Rally.

Yeah, guarantee this'll be chock full of the usual mobile F2P nonsense and will be an NFT and microtransaction ridden load of shit.
There goes any interest I had in it...

I really enjoyed the first one and it was obviously genre defining (leading to Resident Evil etc.) but I fear it could lose a lot of charm when upgraded. The PS1 and Saturn ports already looked off with texture maps etc... It was the best of the series though before it went too combat orientated.
On a similar update/sequel note I am curious but pessimistic about how Outcast's sequel will turn out... I really enjoyed the original of that too.

Can't say I think much of Atari nowadays, and the screenshots look very low budget to me, but this is being written by the SOMA writer, so that could be interesting.
I just hope it won't be too combat-oriented. AITD was not Resident Evil. There were barely any mandatory enemies, and most of them could only be defeated in special ways.

One of the screenshots shows him shooting a skeleton in the dick so there's probably going to be a bit of that

I mean, they've tried to reboot this, what, about a million times? I'd love to see something akin to the original trilogy, but I'm skeptical.
Anyone looking forward to the upcoming Cowabunga collection?

Has anyone here played through Into The Breach? It should be exactly my type of game but I've tried to get into it multiple times and cannot get to first base with the tactics. What am I missing?!
