Looks like a typo. But also if it's a JavaScript framework who gives a fuck. The insane petty differences between React Vue Next etc...

Maybe not the right thread but I tried a Waymo self driving taxi tonight.
Absolutely incredible and I think it'll be one of those tech milestones I'll remember forever. It's up there with the first time I saw digital video on a computer (Encarta Encyclopedia) or the first time I accessed the internet on my phone.

What's the definitive on how to share a Teams recording for external users? Seems to be a million pages all offering pearls of wisdom.

I think fine if all participants knew before that it was going to be recorded and then published/shared. Or consent obtained after. Probs depends on internal policies too

It would depend on the content for me.
If there's privileged or sensitive information, business processes or other proprietary stuff mentioned, then it'd be a no no. Same as with sharing it via any other medium, really.
How different types of info are dealt with in situations like this should be defined by an Information Classification and Handling process/policy.

If/when you post this bunga bunga party of yours would you mind sharing a link?

Sorry I wasn't clear. Just after the steps involved in sharing the recording.

This was shared with me by a former colleague who's employer have just massively fallen out with Sophos and moved their MXDR to Secureworks. "Lol". We moved our retainer from (D)SW a few years ago. They were really good, tbh. Not convinced about our new partner but thankfully we haven't had to exercise them yet.

Oh. Just make it available in Sharepoint to anyone who's got the link (or add specific emails if you'd prefer), then share the link.

Their SOC and support is good, too. I don't have a lot of experience of Sophos, but they seem to be generally well thought of... Hope it works out, because otherwise, moving SOC/SIEM/MXDR for all 29 companies in the group is going to be the ballache to end all ballaches.

Sorry I wasn't clear. Just after the steps involved in sharing the recording. Depending on who started the recording, it will likely have saved it in their one drive and have a URL like mrpon_worldwide.sharepoint.com/personal/some_guy@mrponww_co_uk/somenumbers838383/boringthursdaymeeting.mp4 go directly to that link and just download it

So if that's been done and the output is a "User not in directory" error, it's not been shared correctly? I read about needing to upload to OneDrive or YouTube blah blah.

The worst interview I ever had was for Sophos. I had absolutely smashed two of the three interview stages and just had to pass the maths test.
I have mild dyscalculia and pretty much shat the bed on it. The assessor came in and said since I had done so well on the other two, he was happy to try and get me over the line on the maths one so started trying to coach me on the question about splitting a tip at a Chinese restaurant.
For ten minutes he got redder and redder in the face as my brain just refused to understand how to work out a 30% tip from a total bill of 180 quid divided by six people until I eventually had to say 'I am just never going to be able to answer this', to which he swore under his breath, span on his heels and slammed the door on his way out.

To surmise, had an external client Teams meeting which was recorded. They posted the link to the recording, we can't view it because we're not in their organisation and receive a "User not in directory" error. I assume they need to adjust the share permissions on the recording? But do they need to upload to another platform? Seems like a day 1 question to me, the internet thinks otherwise.

Blimey. Thankfully, I don't think I've ever had a maths test for an interview (although I did do a fairly basic numeracy one for the army many years ago). Seems weird for it to be that important an IT/Security person. I mean, you'd have a computer right in front of you...

I was just an IT person back then. This is another sliding doors near miss that would have seen me living a very boring life in their endpoint deployment team. Same as when I blew an interview to change backup tapes at GCHQ (apparently it was obvious I thought the job would be shit and boring).

I went for an interview a few years ago for an Infrastructure Security job and as we spoke, it turned out they really wanted someone to solely focus on managing their Exchange platform.... which is not me. At all. They knew that I knew. They weren't happy. I told the agent they should be a lot more careful about their job description.

Bloody hell. I'd probably have a similar reaction if a maths test came up.
I mean I'd probably be able to fumble my way around that one by working out 10% and halving it if each person is giving 5%, but no way I'd be able to show my workings without looking like a complete idiot. (well, more than usual)

Does that make any sense?
Chrome is open source. There's nothing to sell.
They'd just have to stop adding their Google gubbins to Chromium and not call it chrome
