Fun is the wrong word. You can spec your character so that it becomes trivial though. ME2 you have to force yourself to actually play the shit.

I think there was one mission in ME2 that had it. Might have been a DLC thing. It had a bunch of DLC missions with a hovercraft/speeder thing. Most were pretty boring, but there was one mission that had a pretty world to explore. Also, not sure if unpopular or not, ME: Andromeda's Mako equivalent was actually pretty damn good... |

Anyway, I used Biotics in ME1 Legendary Edition, and can confirm that the combat was still garbage. Just slightly better smelling garbage.

I'm with Mola, ME1 combat was garbage, the terrible frame rate on the 360 coupled with the garbage combat made the Saren last boss fight intolerable.
But anyway playing Soldier is way boring when you consider how much good shit there is when it came to Biotics. Vanguard all day baby.

I can still remember the game approaching slideshow levels of frame rate on the first mission when you had to disarm the timed bomb.
It's a good thing that I found the story absolutely engrossing that I was able to look past all the other shit.

Yeah, I agree with that. She was the one I chose first time I played ME2, and I think I chose wisely. She had the biggest character development.

Well when I play a new game with a rigid class system, have no idea how they're going to play out and am concerned I might hate the choice I made, I may go for a more "boring" traditional class like soldier to be on the safe side (at least on the first playthrough). The problem with that is that it falls apart if guns aren't interesting/satisfying to use, and that's certainly not ME1's forte, so you couldn't know that soldier is the real class selection mistake to make in that game.

Here’s an unpopular opinion. Although I completed Mass Effect 1&2 I didn’t really like them They were both ok but were 6 out 10 games I endured rather than enjoyed Couldn’t bring myself to play #3 as a result It's a shame you didn't enjoy them, although not having played ME3 as a result almost makes it worth it. |
