They have a contract us on their website so I've dropped them an email to get this cleared up once and for all.
"Hi Wet Leg,
I've read online that you got your name by pressing the emoji buttons on your phone. Well a few of us guys have been discussing it and we think it's actually because your fannies get so wet that it runs down your leg, giving you a "wet leg".
