I dont know why anyone would want to own a pet, tbh. I do find it almost morally reprehensible that we cage animals for our own amusement. Cats, dogs, birds, rabbits.. I think its all pretty gross. Take away their freedom so we can sit and look at them and pretend they like us. Fucking ridiculous. And people who treat their animals like children are the most pathetic of them all. They would eat you if you died, get a grip. So, yes, I look down on both cat and dog owners equally. Youre as bad as each other. Well I don't know, most domestic animals wouldn't exactly live all that well in a city environment. Most of them would end up in overcrowded shelters until they are killed or something. Might as well give them a better life in your house. Not something I wanna do myself, mind. I prefer a clean house. |

Im not suggesting people give them away, just stop buying animals to cage, then there would be no profit and they would stop being farmed. Let the industry atrophy.
Birds are the worst. I dont know how you could take a bird, shove it in a cage and think 'yeah, thats cool'.

One seriously disgusting thing about some dog owners is how they kiss their dogs, let them lick their faces and also let them sleep on the bed. They're animals who lick their genitals and arses, eat shit, don't exactly clean their arse after a shit and you share a bed with them.

Also, I wouldn't have a human for a pet and take it for walks without a lead only for it to maul a child in a pushchair. Unless I was taking Jim the Zombie out mind you but I can't find the key for his chain. I thought you had a kid Yes but he doesn't eat people. He's not a teenager yet. |

I agree with that to an extent but most people do care for their pets and give them at least comfortable lives. Having pets can have a tremendously positive effect on mental health. Cats are usually pretty free to do what they want though, unless they're house cats |

My cousin has an American hairless terrier, he needs special sun cream, coats etc. to be outside, has loads of allergies etc. and is thick as shit. He's called 'lucky' which is quite perfect.

That's quite shit My sister-in-law had a miniature dachshund (or whatever they're called, the wee sausage things) and the poor little thing couldn't even go upstairs properly without hurting it's back. Ended up developing back problems anyway and died after a couple of years. What's the point in that? Humans made that poor thing and it's a shit animal. It was a lovely wee dog but you could see the pain of it's own existence etched into it's face. |
