I don't know what we'd talk about without kids and dogs. Can't rememember what it was like before. I'd like to think it would be all sex and gaming, but I don't think it was before. Just more heavy drinking?

So last year for Christmas dinner we had curry, certainly not traditional but it was a request from the kids. Thing is the eldest had been awake all night the night before waiting for Santa he fell asleep at like 5 pm in the lounge.
So all bloody Christmas day in the kitchen making banging curries and he's not even awake to enjoy it.
Honestly though I seriously thought he was ill because they never sleep, have naps or anything.
All in all I hope curry becomes our new Christmas tradition.

Dunno if I'd agree that all kids but your own are shit too. My boy is in a little under 7's football team and honestly every kid in it is great (except for one little pug cunt). They were in a tournament on Sunday and lost the final on penalties and it was more exciting than any international tournament I've ever watched. Can be, not are. All kids act up, just some more than others and often for a reason. I don't try and pretend my kids are angels, I am not that blinkered. They are great kids but can also be shits at times. |

Objectively dogs are far better, the only plus for cats is that they require less maintenance. Dogs are servile and obedient, they don't have the concept of love but they know who looks after them
Cats are independent and all the cats I've ever had have been affectionate. They'd even grab your hand with their claws and bring it to their head for a stroke or sit on your lap kneading

They are very affectionate and not at all selfish loner shits. My two follow me round wherever I go, just so they're in the same room. I was just thinking that they've really helped with working from home as I don't feel lonely at all with them. Granted they are mostly asleep in whatever room I'm in, but its nice them always being there or suddenly having my mouse knocked out of my hand as one wants a stroke. Personally I couldn't stand having a dog. All that taking it for a walk in all weathers and picking its crap up is just not for me. When its cold, wet and windy, my cats just want a fire, not a 2 mile walk. |

I grew up with cats, but I was too young to remember one and the other was a rescue stray who hated people really. Have been surprised at how much I like my 2. They are affectionate (on their terms), and have their own personalities. They are definitely the easiest pets to look after though. But dogs give that unconditional love that I crave as a needy fucker.

And when I was 4, I literally had my face(nose to be exact) bitten off by a dog. Still love dogs, just not pig dogs, cunts are bred for death. Interestingly my doctors name was Dr David David, true story. He's googleable. |

I dont know why anyone would want to own a pet, tbh. I do find it almost morally reprehensible that we cage animals for our own amusement. Cats, dogs, birds, rabbits.. I think its all pretty gross. Take away their freedom so we can sit and look at them and pretend they like us. Fucking ridiculous.
And people who treat their animals like children are the most pathetic of them all. They would eat you if you died, get a grip.
So, yes, I look down on both cat and dog owners equally. Youre as bad as each other.
