Saoirse Ronan goes doolally on a remote Orkney island in recovery from alcohol addiction. Absolutely fine.

It was the Christmas light switch on day in the village last night so we spent the day watching Christmas classics. Muppets’ Christmas Carol (D+), Paddington 1 (iplayer) and Home Alone (D+). I don’t have the same nostalgia level as most people for Home Alone but all three are basically perfect and my son who hates live action stuff loves them all. We also watched Pokemon Mewtwo Strikes Back (netflix) which isn’t that good, has quite ugly cgi but does feature the death of a main character which really affects my boy every time. For a second there I thought you had given Muppets' Christmas Carol a score of D+ and I very nearly lost my shit. I might be simple but I’m not a moron |
