Which is frankly one of the only two main reasons I ever went to EG.

For fucks sake. I was planning on pasting Dirtbox's Pirates of the Carribbean review from page 1 in here but the fascists fucking deleted his history.
Everything else I could deal with, but now it's gone too far. I'm glad to see the back of that stinking gaff.

Does anyone know Jablonski and can we invite him in here? I miss being told what to think and like about movies.

Munich 6/10
I read the book years ago and thought it was tremendous, but thought the film was plodding, overlong and more than a tad confusing. Stellar cast and director can't help much. It has its moments butI can't recommend it. Its on Netflix if you want to give it a go

I Trapped the Devil
Man visits his brother who claims he has the devil locked in his basement. Has he or has he gone a bit funny and locked up some rando? Enjoyed it and quite liked the ending too
Decent/10
Baskin
Turkish horror. Liked this a whole lot! The second half of the film is pretty creepy
Very good/10

Spirited Away 10/10 Much needed hug of a film, after what has been a traumatic day, such a glorious creation.

Star Trek V - The Final Frontier - 6/10
The bad wannabe Star Wars scenes on Nimbus III aside, I don't think this film is that bad. It's not good, it clearly lacks the energy and wit from 2 and 4, but it's... ok. Not much else to say, it's just unremarkable. If you're dedicated to watch all of Star Trek, of course you'll have to watch it, but otherwise you can safely skip it.

I really want to watch something new that feels like a Tony Scott film this evening but there’s been nothing like that for ages.

I’ve seen them, and watched Crimson Tide and Top Gun a couple of weeks ago. I’ve gone with The Meg expecting it to be shit.

I watched something called Great White on Now TV the other day and it was one of the most badly made films I've ever sat through. And I still enjoyed it. Not Meg though.

I watched Jaws last night for the first time in ages. It's really good, obviously, but I noticed Spielberg does the 'multiple people talking at once, busy, busy' thing just a bit too often throughout.
8 out of 10.

Honestly we can't have an 8/10 review of Jaws on the first fucking page. They're going to shut us down.

Both very different but equally good movies. More points for RTS for Michael Douglas and his quality attire.

I couldn’t make it past 30 minutes of The Meg. I’ve never watched a film with Statham in, he’s like watching Vinnie Jones but worse. Ended up with Lord of the Rings which I’ve only ever seen bits of because each one is 28 hours long.
