For me, the "waste of money" thing is what I like least about them.
Yes there are worse wastes of money to complain about. But every time I hear about millions and millions being spent on some pretty lights that last for 15 minutes tops, which nobody will remember the next day because they're too pissed, I think of a thousand other, more useful things that my tax money would be better spent on. Like roads, or more housing for the homeless, etc etc
Brb there's some kids on my lawn that need shooing off of it
