I've got Classic FM on for the cats and some Muppets texted in about their tortoise. That'll be the reptile that senses vibrations rather than sound then. The reptile that won't really actually hear the fireworks.

Our 5 year old is desperate to go see a display, the 2 year old is terrified by them. We compromised by standing in the driveway and seeing a few go up from a few houses down, youngest stayed inside and watched 5 minutes of frozen with me checking on her every 30 seconds.

When I was at uni the house next door was a Chinese family and they used to really go for it on Chinese New Year. The only way I could hear the tv in the evening was with headphones on, a few times I was sure the fireworks were going to come through my window.

Tbh, I think some of the non-launch fireworks you can buy these days are just unsold airsoft or paintball pyrotechnics in a different wrapper. You can buy some pretty mean stuff nowadays. |
