There's a mowing wanker around here too. Never quite got the logic of waiting until peak afternoon heat on the hottest day in ages to sort out your lawn. The equivalent I have is some twat with an angle grinder somewhere in the trees. Never does it on standard overcast days, the massive tool.

Warmer than a badgers arsecrack here.
Cat is looking at me like it’s desperate for an Immac and would be far happier hairless save for a Brazilian.

The last few days have been unbearably hot, so todays' rain is quite welcome.

22 degrees and sunny. It's mental in the sense that it's actually been a nice summer here so far, and I have nothing to complain about.

Saw this tonight, no rain causing it, just the low clouds.

Down in Dover for a day exploring Dover Castle and walking Dover Cliffs from NT Visitor Centre to Lighthouse.
Lovely morning walk to the lighthouse with a couple of light mizzles. A calippo and a sit down at the Lighthouse bemusing the complete absence of d-day like small vessel immigrant landings inbound to port (did not see any) that the Sunday Mail would leave you to believe. Five minute along the 30mins back to NT vc and uh oh very dark clouds looming. Next 20 mins apocalypse like torrential rain (no umbrella, no rain clothing… shorts and tees like clothing for me and the wife). Rain river like running down the chalk paths.
Queue us returning to the centre like drowned rats soaking wet to the nethers. Thank god we both had a change of clothes in the car!
Blighty summers. Gotta love em!

If it's any consolation I'm in Italy this week with the family and yesterday it was 38 degrees. Our accommodation is an old farmhouse and has no air conditioning.
The masonry is so hot and cooked by bedtime that it's tantamount to sleeping in an oven.

Huge amount of rain in NE Hampshire and an electrical storm, it's been so sticky today that it's something of a relief for a while at least.

Proper electrical storm here and then when that died out it was just pissing it down. I went out into the garden and was just splashing around on the patio, barefoot like a toddler. Simple pleasures

High twenties temp followed by a tropical style mini hurricane rainstorm with thunder including hail.
Standard.

Fuck all here. All melting but would still take this over the pissing rain we had for most of June and July.
