I really love some of the careful choices around where scenes take place. The airport hotel at the start of the series was just so perfect.
The Kendal, Rom & Shiv scene set against the backdrop of the bin store was just... (chef's kiss)

Can finally join the conversation. What a series. That was the best season yet imo. So many brilliantly tense scenes, punctuated with the necessary levity, as well as the excruciating moments. Don't think I could fault it at all.

The movie The Menu is by a writer and director from Succession. Thought it was brill and definitely worth a watch in cinema or whenever it comes to streaming.

Stoked for this on 26 March.
They’ve said it will conclude after 5 Seasons, which sounds ideal to me. You can’t keep quality like this going forever.

Yes, I think that's fair. It's tough to follow two absolutely perfect seasons - which S1 and S2 really were.

I can’t wait for this.
Succession has become my comfort show of choice. If there’s nothing on I’ll randomly pick and episode and indulge in a Roy/Hirsch/Wambsgams sandwich.
For my money, Season 2 is the best, and the season 2 finale one of the best episodes of TV ever.

Cracking opener, with a little bit of everything you want going on...including a brilliantly excruciating scene where Logan asks everyone assembled to roast him. "Who wants to smell Greg's finger? Guess the smell, win a buck" is such pithy, economical characterisation of Logan. I just marvel at the writing. One to savour over the next ten weeks. |

I don't know how they simultaneously maintain a sense of pace, urgency, pathos, and farce but they do.
