I have a Diablos paintballed. Is it even with trying to join up to hunt it?
I think they misjudged this event. It's too tough considering the slow rate of leveling.

Yeah agreed. I'm getting smashed by 4* monsters because I'm still farming for upgrades. A 5* Diablos is just a terror.

This also leads me on to the annoyance that you can't craft potions or buy them with zenny.
How do I get gems? Apart from buying them.

Yeah. There are annoying differences with the console games.
I just need to stop thinking in the console mindset, and remember that this is a 'free' mobile game which wants me to spend money on shit to get stuff faster.

Just got a spanking from 4* Pukei Which is telling me I need better armour and weapons! 😊 I beat him, by playing a bit smarter and dodging round the side a bit more consistently to avoid his poison spit. Really wasn't that hard, just needed to 'git gud'! |

I was having a 'mare with the lag on my old phone, couldn't dodge jack. This one has like 4x the RAM and it's peachy smooth now.

I did wonder if some of the stuttering is because I'm too tight to buy a decent handset!
I was also getting hunts failing at the weekend because it claimed poor/lost network connectivity. I was on a rugby pitch in Barnes with plenty of 4G reception...

While still stuck at Rathian I have managed to upgrade my pukei SnS to Grade 4. 364 raw and 225 poison.
Total defence is 227 which feels a bit low. I'm using the kulu armour as I seem to have the most bits for it.
This is like a whole new level of grinding. Even for Monster Hunter!

I like it as a game, but the drop rate and slow advancement it super frustrating.
I'd probably have paid a few quid to download it but I very much doubt I will fork out for the gems.

Looks mad, the number of monsters in that herd is huge compared to anything they've done before. World had what, 5 or 6 Jagras and a Great Jagras in an area at most? I think Capcom are going BIG

Having finished BG3 and not wanting to immediately start another play through I've gone back to Monster Hunter Rise.
I love MH games so much. Decided to focus on completing the platinum for the base game rather than get too distracted by Sunbreak stuff.
Thankfully my first attempt at the Apex Rathalos rampage went better than I expected.
Sadly the rapid run through the fishing didn't yield the expected trophy.
