I don't think you can. I have a sub to Paramount+ that I can't link to Amazon. It's a shame really.

Apple TV let’s you link accounts like that. I’ve got Disney plus and whatnot linked to it.

Subtle art of not giving a fuck is up on prime, amongst other services, by Mark Mansen. It's a good watch. www.subtleartmovie.com/

The opening was enough for me to know I'm going to love more Alan.

Watched Stratagem last night, it was bloody awful. The only thing worth watching was the cameo from a certain lookalike, otherwise it felt a lot like it was written 15 years ago during the slump pre-Mid Morning Matters.

Agreed, glad I didn't pay to see it live!

I watched it live and loved it - interested to see if I'll have the same affection for it on TV.
Much preferred it to Mid Morning Matters and From the Oast House but probably not as good as This Time - felt more like a greatest hits from the I'm Alan Partridge era.

I watched the first 30 minutes at the weekend and then gave up. Thought it was awful.

Starting to think I should leave the memories alone. Or at least have a few pints whilst watching it (as I did live).
Other half wasn't impressed with it when we saw it but then again she doesn't like any Partridge.

Clarksons Farm 2
I find it quite easy to enjoy some of his programmes whilst not sharing opinions with the man himself. There's so obviously the public 'character' of Jeremy Clarkson that is relatively insincere and for effect.
I get why that annoys people but I just find him akin to a watered down Al Murray. It's the right wing, middle England viewpoint loudly exaggerated for effect, knowing it's inherently a bit ridiculous. Admittedly the fact that he's staunchly anti-brexit and quite internationalist helps me have faith he's not pure gammon.
Anyway the new series of the Farm is very good. Really does lay bare the almost impossible task British farmers are facing thanks to the consequences of the government's decisions over the past decade.
I live in the countryside and it's a real concern. If all the farmers give up and sell to developers, the English countryside as people like to think of it will cease to exist. We also won't be able to buy local produce anymore and we'd have even less food security than we do now.
It's a major issue and hopefully the popularity of this series can help add political pressure for meaningful change.
Beyond that, it's well shot, with lots of beautiful drone footage and gently amusing. There isn't the stench of scripted incidents that blighted latter day TG/GT. Nice way to spend a few hours.

With a Rotten Tomatoes rating of 56%, I’m not sure if it’s a recommendation, but Babylon is on Prime now.

Just resubbed as I want to watch Picard (all episodes should have aired by the time I get to the end).
Anyway, why the hell they removed the "free for me" option is a mystery. it just means I'm even less likely to scroll through shit, and will unsub once I've watched the things I know about.

Just watched the latest effort from Guy Ritchie - Operation Fortune - starring his latest pet actor Hugh Grant. It was alright. If you've seen any of his recent films you know what you're getting. Guns, swearing, mockney accents. Quite enjoyed it really.

I also watched that, the trailer made me think it was a spoof/comedy but there were some oddly dark/violent moments. I enjoyed it, helped by having Hugh Grant ham it up again in a villain role, not sure I would have felt the same had I rented it or seen it in the cinema.

Has anyone started The Power yet?
I enjoyed the book but the trailer for the show looks like a very typical soft sci-fi streaming service show

First episode is as good as ever.
No binging this series as it's the last (and after the first 3 it's weekly releases anyway).

Maisel is definitely one we like to binge so will let another few build up first. Give me time to catch up on Succession too.

I still have at least one season of Maisel to catch up on before getting to 5. Maybe two actually.

New series of Takeshi’s Castle went up in Japan yesterday. I watched the first one, it’s a bit hit and miss. Same events so far, though a single hour-long episode only contained a handful, not the full run to the end.
Typical Japanese light entertainment format of ‘comedians’ chatting in between the action on a bad cgi stage, with an ‘AI’ Takeshi, not sure if it was actually him voicing it or not.
Definitely not the same without the Craig Charles commentary.

I've never seen the original, but I suspect the commentary made it feel pretty different.
Most Japanese light entertainment is god-awful, but something made this a cult classic overseas.

JP Prime also has an impressive collection of really terrible looking erotic thrillers that I’m dying to watch but perhaps not on my wife’s account. Sucks that accounts don’t seem to get access to local content the way Netflix does.
