I can't see one for this anywhere, apologies if there is one.
Anyway, Joker is now on Amazon Prime for free. I might be the only person in the world that's not seen it though.

Inspired by Squid Game, I'm watching Battle Royale on Prime Movies. It's "free with ads". And after 20 minutes and two 40-second ad breaks which were about as intrusive as they could possibly be, I'm very close to buying the 99p ad-free version.

The Green Knight is definitely worth a watch. Kermode gave it 5 stars. Empire gave it 5 stars. Don't think I've come across a critic who hasn't given it 5 stars.
In short I shouldn't have bothered reading all that middle english bollocks for English Lit, I should have just waited for the film to come out.

Which Joker, the Pheonix one? Not seen that either.
Currently we are going through Stargate and are getting towards the tail end of SG1. The kids love it and now have the theme music seared into their brains like it should be. Will go through them all and they'll be in for a nice surprise when Atlantis starts as we have been watching Farscape on DVD too.
There is also The Great Escapists with Richard Hammond and Tory from Mythbusters, it's enjoyable but so fake and cringy. Like you would expect if Hammond was doing anything.

On the subject of the cast of Top Gear and what they're on with, I would actually recommend Clarkson's Farm. I expected it to be shit, it was actually really good. I learn't a lot and had a lot of laughs. Clarkson was able to keep from being a wanker for almost the entire series.

There is some good stuff on Amazon, it just not very good at promoting it on the firestick.

The new season of Goliath is on. It’s good so far apart from the dream section things which I hate whenever any show does it, long sequences of weird metaphors in a completely different style to the rest of the show just irritate me.

Actually finding things on the Amazon Video app gets worse with every update, it's still not quite as bad as the Music app though.

Also found a guy on Twitch replicating his farm in Farm Simulator. Same with Mays stuff on Amazon, although you expect him to be the sensible one. I can see him doing the Palin thing quite easy.

Also agree regarding the "Great" Escapists with Hammond - I lasted one episode. My 11 year old liked it though... I'd recommend the James May shows that are available though - Me and my missus enjoyed his travels through Japan, and the cooking show was entertaining enough as well. Both are worth a try in our humble opinions!

I've nearly finished the first series of Invincible and I really think it's been excellent. You may be completely fed up with superhero stuff (I certainly am) but this is more in the anti-superhero vein... think The Boys.
I love the animation style, the story has unexpected twists and turns, and it's actually quite funny in parts. Also, JK Simmons.

Is it better than The Boys? I found myself just not caring about what happened to anyone in that show, and never even finishing the first season.

I know what you mean about The Boys; None of the characters were very sympathetic. I strangely ended up most invested in Homelander's story - Despite him being the main villain, I thought it was the most interesting. The story in Invincible is simpler, more classic, and easier to get invested in. I think the main reason I like it is because it's like a "90s Saturday morning cartoon for adults". It's a bit silly, some of the teen high school stuff is slightly annoying, but the concept really works. I just hope there's a second series.

I think the difference is that The Boys was written by someone who hates the superhero genre, and Invincible was written by someone who has a lot of affection for it. That's just the source material, but it really comes across in the adaptations.

Cheers, I'm convinced. And apparently I already was, as I went to put it on my watchlist and found it already there.

Both very good but quite different shows. Positive and negatives for both.
Invincible is a tad heavy handed with its messages and with The Boys as much as I like Karl Urban his accent makes me want to push pencils into my ears.
The uber violence in both will wear fairly thin so hoping they don't rely on that too much in the new seasons.

It works perfectly as a fun take on a superhero show as well as a grim commentary on superheroes.

I rewatched all The Expanse recently in preparation for finale, in UHD on Amazon is it easily the prettiest TV I've seen.
And on the subject of prettiness, Terminator 2 UHD is £3.99, and absolutely stunning. So shiny.

Yeh. Looks decent. Big fan of the books. Looks like they've actually cast someone believable in the title role rather than a wimpy dwarf. AKA Tom Cruise.
