Happy days for the Tomb Raider remasters from this old git
Hope they’ve tweaked the controls but the thought of that music going whilst exploring St Francis Folly and the Opera House again.

Nintendo are not giving us a remaster of F-Zero GX until we prove that we're worthy and clear all the levels.
Sorry guys. I might be one of the people holding things up. I couldn't clear the first stage. I like difficult games but GX is ridiculous.

I wonder if publishing rights is an issue with that? Didn't Sega publish an arcade version? Might not have an impact on Nintendo but seems odd that they have remade just about every game fans have asked for?

That arcade version is apparently hidden on the GameCube disc, right? I’m sure somebody discovered the whole of F-Zero AX stored on the disc, but it’s obviously not accessible via normal means.

I've been dreaming of a million remakes or redos for years, but I came to the realisation that all the great games that I loved were made within the shortcomings of the platforms they were first released on. The sky's the limit with modern hardware. but looking back on any given classic era, we forget that it was all a bit limited by current standards. A remake wouldn't have anything close to the spirit and fun of the original.
I'd love to see something like Zarch/Virus, or Thrust, or Quazatron reimagined, but they'd all be a bit shit.

I was just flicking through metacritic when I saw the word “Moonstone” and my heart skipped a beat.
Sadly not a remake of the Amiga classic, and instead a farming sim called “moonstone island”.
But clearly they need to bring back Moonstone - for the epic swamp creature battles if nothing else.

Not exactly most wanted, but I'm playing Alice (2): Madness Returns and just found out that there was a remaster of American McGee's Alice (1) that basically was only bundled with the collector's edition of the game. The collector's edition is available almost nowhere now.
So in this case it'd just be nice if there was an easy way to get hold of a remaster that they made and then let almost no-one play.

I've had the MGS Remaster since Saturday and in my totally not MGS fanboy tinted glasses influenced opinion they are absolutely fine and exactly what I expected. MGS1 has every version that was released in every region included and there's a pretty cool and extensive interactive lore book thing detailing the series they've clearly spent a fair bit of effort on creating. It's not even in the same stratosphere of lazy as something like the GTA Trilogy.

I would probably buy the MGS trilogy vol.1 (even though I have the HD collection on x360 and another fuller collection on PS3) on the grounds they release a vol.2 including MGS4 in the future. This masterpiece must be preserved for future generations:)

It's being strongly suggested that MGS4 is going to be included in volume 2. Some clever cunt reverse engineered a graphic on their website revealing it's being released from PS3 prison.

Hoping these will be sold separately on Xbox as I already have superior versions (?) of MGS 2&3 through the HD Collection but would be up for picking up MGS1 individually when it goes on sale.
Also aware that Snake Eater is getting a full remake next year.

I wouldn't mind a remake of The Getaway. I can't think of another game, where you play from two different perspectives. Then I check what the studio is up to.. "The studio is currently working on a cooperative multiplayer game for the PlayStation 5." yawn.

A port of the original Deus Ex to consoles would be nice but I think the series is currently dormant again. Should have happened when they reawakened it the first time
It could also open the way for other Unreal engine ports. Never played the first Unreal but it's suppose to be good and I wouldn't mind an UT99 port either (think it'd play much better on consoles than Q3, read in to that what you will)

With playing lords of the fallen, it makes me want a remake of Soul Reaver even more.
The level design and puzzles were great and how seamless it was back then was incredible. I think it was 2 animated door openings between areas. Outstanding for ps1 disc game.
