Less potentially contentious than the Babylon 5 reboot but Channel 4 have their new "Dominik Diamond" and it's a name everyone should recognise, Rab Florence. I have no idea how well the show will turn out but I've got no complaints over that. |

Ooh Rab being involved is a big positive.
When Dominic Diamond was on Richard Herring’s podcast the way he talked about none of the original guys being consulted made me worried it’d be a new Go 8-Bit. Rab is the kind of guy who actually gets games though, not just the average panel show regular going through the motions.

I like Consolevania, videoGaiden and Burnistoun so I’ve got faith in him. Being a celebrity show is a bummer though. Part of the charm of the original is how rough it looks.

Funnily enough I had a telephone conversation with one of the producers last week — they got in contact to talk about doing a rematch. Sadly the dates don’t line up with our schedules so we can’t do it! It would have been embarrassing to lose a second time. Awks.
