Just watched the first two episodes of Search Party, quite enjoyable and ridiculous so far .

How could you not like it? Sean Connery's perfect Spanish accent is Enough to make it the best film ever.

Highlander is so much fun. It's very silly, has at least 2 terrible accents and has an awful script. But it's still lots of fun with a great soundtrack. I love it.

Watched the first two episodes of Money Heist again after watching them back in 2017 or whenever it came out. Bloody good stuff, really looking forward to the rest of it (can't remember why but I stopped after two episodes)
Weird the way that it only seems to have picked up hype over the past few months...

The first Highlander wasn't terrible.
The sequels, though... oof.

I get the nostalgia thing but it's genuinely crap. The sword fighting looks like 2 kids with cardboard tubes, everything looks cheap and the acting. Oh god the acting.

The Witcher Season 2. Vesemir looks like a young Jim Broadbent and it's putting me off.

Seasons 1 & 2 are amazing. It dips a bit in 3 and more so in 4 (still not bad though) but 5 is incredible.

Just finishing up catching up with the new Worzel Gummidge before bed (my son is too sacred of the horrific scarecrows for me to watch when he’s up and its on live). Its such a charming show. Think Detectorists but channeling proper traditional Sunday night family programming, baths are being run, tea has been had, heating on slightly too high, everyone half dozing and Antiques Roadshow is on next.
Its a big recommend from me

I haven't watched it because (a) my kids thought the poster image looked scary, and (b) I assumed it wouldn't be a patch on the original. Maybe I'll give it a go. If it's good I'm sure the kids will like it once it gets started.
[edit] oh, and because I wasn't sure they'd understand anything with the accents, if they're anything like the original

For such a friendly, cosy show the make-up for the scarecrows is uniformly monstrous.

Wife is watching Phil & Kirsty with some whingers complaining that their £900,000 house isn’t good enough. Its now worth £1,100,000 and they still don’t seem that happy.
These shows are so gross.

Continuing with Succession S3.
The birthday party episode is so, so rough. It's uncanny how this show makes you feel sad for absolutely fucking terrible people.

Still watching series 2 of the X-Files; the scene in Fresh Bones where the man comes out of the wound on Scully's hand and chokes her in the car is pure horror

Phil comes across as a smug prick Well, he's an estate agent. Haha. I have to watch a lot of these types of programs, 'cos my missus loves' em. Phil is a bit smug, but I wouldn't mind having a pint with Kevin McCloud from Grand Designs, he seems all right. Just no architectural talk!

Was it Phil or Kevin that was smearing deer blood all over himself not long ago?
And wasn’t Kirsty a lockdown skeptic?

Watched the Xmas special of I Can See Your Voice which is totally the kind of junk I'd usually sneer at... and then both the wife and I had rather a good time guessing and telling the people on the screen they were idiots and clearly wrong.
Never even heard of it before, but it was at least good for a half hour of mindless fun.

Was it Phil or Kevin that was smearing deer blood all over himself not long ago? And wasn’t Kirsty a lockdown skeptic? Still is. She's deleted quite a lot of posts in the last couple of years, I believe, has the Honourable Kirsty. I can't imagine Phil smearing deer blood on himself, though. Or perhaps, I just don't want to. Anyway, I've been re-watching Stargate SG-1 lately. I was a bit worried it would have aged terribly, but apart from some odd artefacts on my copies occasionally, it's actually been really good. I'm 3/4 of the way through Season 2 and it definitely stands up. Occasionally, the solutions to their dilemmas are a bit speedy, because of the format of a story a show, but it's enjoyable nonetheless, mostly well-written and acted with charisma, charm and humour.

Me and the GF started watching Yellowjackets last night. A couple of episodes in and I’m really enjoying it - feels like a bit of a hidden gem. Surprisingly gory too.
Took me an entire episode to realise one of the characters is Christina Ricci.

Been watching Bob's Burgers, people had always told me it was great, and I hadn't really believed it, and only watched it because it has the same main voice-actor as Archer (H. Jon Benjamin, who I could listen to all day).
It is in fact, pretty great, and thankfully quite unlike the other various ghastly Simpsons-imitators out there. The characters particularly have a lot more charm to them and aren't there to be hated nor to constantly spew "*CLAP NOW!*" pop culture shit (unlike Macfarlane's various inexplicably successful attempts at this genre).

Watching Witcher S2, about halfway through it now. It's fun, but I did go a bit at Jaskier and his little meta rant at people who criticised the first season. It started off cute, then it started feeling like the writers coming out of the TV to slap you.
