Hip issues can be common for breech birth folks, happened to my sister. Apparently there is an early intervention with a harness which can be done now but back then they used to just put an extra tight nappy on. I don’t know that she ever had any more medical advice than keeping core, back, leg strength up and liberal use of painkillers when it hits.

If it's a tear, my guess is rest then physio will be as effective as surgery. If it's anything like shoulder tears anyway

In-growing/infected hair follicle? Sucks getting old eh? I have self-diagnosed myself with texters thumb. Over the last 18 months, my right thumb has become very painful around the bottom joint, especially lateral movement. I've half-arsed some exercises but it's now so painful that I can barely use it. So have found some better exercises to stretch and strengthen online and have been diligently doing those. It has eased a bit but always feels like it'll go again if I catch my thumb awkwardly. Who knew thumbs were so important?! Anyway, seeing the doc about some pesky warts that won't go this week, so will mention it then anyway. Warts are proving tricky to get rid off. 2nd treatment today, she said if there's no real improvement after the 3rd, we'll have a chat. Which I suspect will be "shit out of luck". Also referred me for x-rays on the hands - finally managed to get to the hospital this morning. Was in and out in 10 mins. Friday mornings are clearly the time to go - for anything. Even A&E was only a 55 min wait.

I've got what's either a wart or a hypertrophic scar on one of my big toes. I should probably ask my doctor about it, but always feel sorry for her and the neverending workload whenever I go in for something more serious.
I had a scope recently to check out my Barratt's esophagus and bizarrely there's absolutely no sign of it now. Didn't realise it was possible for it to heal (you hear that your cells are changing and presume it's a one way street) Absolutely delighted with that to say the least!

What really gets on their nerves are people that come in for something minor and towards the end of the appointment go “oh yeah, while I’m here, I’ve seem to have grown a third testicle?”.

Ha, yeah, I read an article by a GP in a magazine that said the same. Hit them up front with all the things that you're there for and let them decide the order of priority.
