Anyone on Harley Street should be okay Danno, I know someone who works at the Harley Medical Group if you need breast augmentation.

Anyone on Harley Street should be okay Danno, I know someone who works at the Harley Medical Group if you need breast augmentation. They're coming along fine whether I want them or not, but thanks anyway It's the dodgy Google reviews that worry me. 100+ reviews from users that have only ever reviewed the clinic and all mentioning the Doc by name, interspersed with 1 star complaints

Any opticians?
I've asked this before years ago but I'm constantly using eye drops to deal with bleariness. Especially in the morning; I have to spend about 10 minutes wiping my eyes and literally removing crap from my eyeballs every day. It gets better during the day and then ramps up again at night.
I work with computers all day then come home and each evening will involve either a few hours of TV or gaming. I also have two young kids and suffer from insomnia at the best of times so I'm generally pretty tired. That being said my symptoms seem to persist when I'm on holiday and stuff.
I've tried warm masks and all the rest of it, the only thing that touches it is these particular eye drops, but I was hoping there is something more effective that I haven't thought of.

Anyone on Harley Street should be okay Danno Hmmm. I've heard the exact opposite. It's just a st with buildings on it, and it's evolved to have it's own brand. A lot of clinics pay top dollar to rent there because of the kudos, but beyond that it's a signifier of nothing. Know a doctor who did some work there covering shifts for some provider working out of there and they said it's one of the worst places they'd worked in terms of standards. Ofc, I'm sure you friend in the boobs industry is great, but it not necessarily and indicator of anything in isolation. There is no barrier to a total cowboy renting a consulting room.

I'm not an optician, so pinch of salt this. That sounds like conjunctivitis to me. During the day you're blinking away crud with tears, but during the night it's building up and gumming up your eyes. The cause could be an infection or it could be an allergic reaction, but either way, you should see a doctor who should get you seen by an opthalmologist. If it's the former, then a course of eye drops will clear it. I assume the gunk isn't green or yellow? If it is, then infection is more likely. As for dealing with it, a very warm flannel is the best way.

Sounds like either conjunctivitis or blepharitis. I have bouts of the latter and used to use Brolene, but that now appears to have been discontinued for reasons I can't uncover. User Dave_McCoy might have more advice. There's also an eye care thread, will move posts when I get a chance.

Conjunctivitis normally goes away after a while though as it's an infection. Are the eyes red in the morning and irritable as well? How long has it been going on? More than a month?
I found the best stuff was chloramphenicol eye drops. Have to be prescribed it though, it's not over the counter.

PsilocIt's sounds more like blepharitis. Are your eyes red? If the eyes are red and watery then it may be conjunctivitis but that is usually self limiting. With your lifestyle it's likely blepharitis and some dry eye. So drops would help but you probably need to get the lid disfunction under control. So, hot eye mask for 10 mins, tea tree or blephasol wipes, then eye drops to finish up. It's chronic usually mind so you might have to get in to a rhythm of this or it'll return. You might get a few weeks without it but if it starts raising its head again then back to the routine.

Nice, thanks I’ll look into that.
It’s been going on too long to be conjunctivitis, it’s been a daily thing for the best part of a decade

Cheers guys, this does all sound promising. Having done some Googling blepharitis + dry eye fits the bill I think and would explain why it's been so long lasting. I've ordered some tea tree stuff because I've never tried that before. I'll report back!

Just had the snip. That was... Unusual.
Anaesthetic didn't seem to work as well on the left side, so felt it a lot more there. Really not all that bad, though. Just very unusual.

I could feel movement down there but no pain. Have to say the movements the surgeon was making felt way bigger than they had any right to be.

On a different note, does anyone have any experience with COPD? Looks like my father in law has it.

Finally got the courage to do one of those bowl cancer tests. I always thought you send an entire poo, imagine my disappointment when I finally get the kit and it's just a scraping lol. I always wondered how on earth we're sending entire stool samples in the mail. omg Now I've just got to figure how to catch a shit, they've provide a small tissue to put in your toilet but I'm not sure that's going to be strong enough...

can't touch the water, so fishing it out after is not an option. I'd just use salad tongs.

I thought Dougs post was in relation to razz's issue, and was wondering wtf? then realised it was separate to that.
🤔😀
