Pfft, tense game this, even with Bobby's flicked headed goal. Been really tight and neither defence has looked particularly solid. Attacks really haven't been on it. Final passes poor, wayward shots but a good game.
Surprised (pleasantly) with the ref. No cards yet and kept it flowing.

He’s actively made every team he’s been in worse, including 3 relegations.
He’s slow, has the turning circle of artic lorry, poor positional awareness and is prize cock to top it all off. Yet he’s English, cost £80 million, was made club captain and plays well for England against teams like San Marino, Albania and Andorra so he’s never dropped...

I don't really mind Varane taking a while to settle in, he's played in Madrid for a decade. Players used to get a year, eh?
Tonight, this is back to an old enemy and he's had a few moments of madness but I think he'll easily be our best CB for a while to come.
