I do hate that part of the draw though. Just make it a free draw from last 16 FFS. Or just do it like the World Cup and have the entire path set up before the group draw is made. |

Would like it to remain that way.  Yes, would obvs have preferred the original draw but we could/should face pretty much anyone and not feel underdogs. Draw had to be remade - no issue there, though it is following a pattern where my recent experiences of sporting fiascos have me feeling shafted! Seems at least like AFCON runs early Jan to early Feb and these first-leg games are 15/16th Feb so hopefully won’t impact - but only a week or so for Covid/minor injuries to work their way out… tight! I fear that by then though our title chances may have been scuppered. |
