Mavis just beat her first optional boss. Can wield the greatsword I found, got a shield and some boots. Also triggered the night event that you mentioned at the merchants place. Think it may just be a visit at night that may trigger it. Did it by accident.

I did notice that I found a mental black rider type chap at night. That was when I desummoned my horse after getting him low on health and getting twatted. Respawned at day, went expecting him to be there, and he was gone. |

No bow yet but loving my great sword. Got summoned 3 times for the optional boss I just beat. The weapon art in this great sword kept flinging the boss into the air.

Surprised at the difference in load times between PS5 and XSX. 6-7 seconds on PS5 and 18-20 seconds on XSX according to DF. That is a lot more waiting about considering the amount of deaths that are likely to happen.
How can 2 SSD machines be so different?
A pity that neither machine can do locked 60 fps unless you go down the BC PS4 route.

Is it just the resolution that's different in the two modes then? Seems to be, and there’s barely any difference that I can make out. Looks kinda rough either way. It looks better on Xbox though. |

Kind of regretting not going PS5 now for the loading times (looks the exact same to me), but I guess VRR will help massively on the other hand.
Proper first world problems right here... I'm just glad I didn't get it for PC.

RobEG Awesome. I had a feeling it would be decent enough on the PS4. I'm sure he'll be perfectly happy with it. I don't normally care much tbh. Hell, I've got 60fps DS3 installed on the PS5 yet end up playing the 30fps version on the old xbox instead half the time.

I'm just waiting for them to confirm the Series X version looks better and has quicker loading times before I buy it. I mean I like PlayStation and all but playing the PS4 version on my PS5 in order to get a playable frame rate isn't an ideal solution for me. |
