Yeah, not looking great for us PC peasants lol Hopeful something that can be rectified, though, as it appears to be happening across all hardware setups. Just seen a clip of a major Twitch streamer suffering significant stutter/lag during a particular boss fight. Believe he's running a 3090/12900k. Will give it a crack when it's available. Steam allows for two hours no questions asked, yeah? You would think with all this money they could afford to hire a proper pc focused studio to sort out their pc ports without some nerd on the internet managing to solve the issue. |

Shite. I had to go out tonight & thought it would update while i was out. It didn't.
Is this because console was off with a disc in it & not able to check for verification?
Never had that happen with digital only games, csn switch off & it'll happily update.
Dying light 2 it is then.

It's very frustrating when you do the right thing, wait for reviews, then find out the game is broken after buying it. What are you supposed to do in that situation?
I know the actual answer is to stop being so impatient or buy direct from Steam, but come on!

Tbh I don't like the bloodstains in From games - the idea is fine, but they always look too vivid. Demon's Souls remastered is especially bad for this, bright red explosions all over the screen.
The messages are cool though.

Fkn hell I realise I didn't select a starting gift? Or? I'm confused. Started a new character to check, seems like I somehow neglected the whole Gift selection. The Vagabond is super satisfying through the tutorial area. Proper sword, and the Block/Counter is very nice. Also a 100% phys shield. |

I’ve switched offline as the number of messages and bloodstains was just annoying.
The art style and direction is very cool so far, but technically speaking this definitely took a bit of a beating with the fugly stick.

And my PS5 controller isn't working with it. Judging by Steam forum discussions, others are having controller problems too.
Sometimes it picks up something, often with a horrid lag on it. Other times nothing seems to work. Can navigate menus with the keyboard, but it won't let me select anything.

Obviously I've played a million hours of from games so this statement isn't exactly fair but SO FAR it's definitely the easiest of their games. There's lots more things available to cheese your way through. Some bosses can be abused with your steed. The spirit Summons on bosses help so so much. That being said it's deffo not easy. Three bosses so far have given me the rage and taken maybe 6-10 attempts each.
Great stuff overall for me although a bit too much dark souls (as was known before release).
10+ hours done, level 33.
