(I caught DadFE's COVID and it's on the sweat-your-bollocks-off fever stage, made worse by the heat... Test this morning said no, but we have the exact same symptom progression except mine are a day late, so... I don't think I'll be able to play tonight folks!) Feel better dude. You know what might help? Normally I'd agree but I want to enjoy this while firing on at least most cylinders  |

I've never known such excitement and dissapointment of watching a green line go up and down on the steam downloads page. It got up to 47 MB/s for a bit but down to 10 MB/s for now.
Edit: licking along now at 65 Mb/s, less than a minute to go. Woohoo!

I'm in. Just spent an hour exploring the first area. Almost died to the very first enemy. Yeah, this DLC isn't messing around. Found some reverse grip swords and can tell I'm going to have choice paralysis about what new builds to try.
That's amazing news about Torrent being added to the Elden Beast fight! An incredible game gets even better.

Did you get the job? Congrats!!! I got a job in Jakarta but this year has been a pretty terrible one both professionally and personally and I don't have the physical or mental energy to move and settle in a new country again for a while so I'm going to move back to the UK for a while, have a prolonged break and do some online work which still pays pretty well. I feel very at peace with my decision. So I guess I'll start with maining this game for a while. |

Yeah, I lost 95k with an ill advised trip into a boss room. It’s rock hard on my L202 character and not sure levelling up will do much good. I’m 57 vitality, going to 58 gets me a whopping 19 points of health which won’t make a jot of difference. It’s absolutely fantastic though and really enjoying exploring again. Light spoiler on evergaols I think they’re called Mausoleum in the DLC and they have a proper boss mist door. Most importantly if you die in them, your souls stay in there, unlike the main game where they’re safe on top to retrieve. So enter at your own peril |

At least im in now.
Unlimited poise enemies can fuck off though, always the worst ones in the game.

I've just lost another hundred grand. You can rack it up fairly quickly mind, but I need about 180000 for a level so it only takes two screw-ups to obliterate your progress. And yes, it's nails - my incantations and sorceries are doing the heavy lifting, with some back-up from Rivers of Blood. It's bloody great though. I'm making my way through Belurat Tower Settlement and it's great to just have that pant-filling tension as you round corners and wonder what the hell is coming next. Lovely design to this area. |
