I’ll probably add 50 to those levels. I like watching Souks vets doing speedruns, low level runs or beat the game with a ladle +1; but for mortals like me, every level matters 🤷♀️

Hmph. See I wasn’t going to get the dlc but now it’s only a week away in getting worried that from now until forever my YouTube feed will just be full of spoilers for it. Yet I can’t be arsed playing it. Yet I don’t want it spoiled. Argh.

I know what you mean, but I’ve enjoyed rolling a couple more characters and picking and choosing quests, caves and catacombs to go in, rather than trying to do it all on my main. The problem with being such a massive open world game is it’s hard to get the enthusiasm to start, but there’s work arounds to get the gear and build you want, without having to ignore the family for a week. Hope you get it Wunty. I’ve never been disappointed with a From DLC yet 👍

Just get it as that can’t be arsed feeling will go after 60 mins in the dlc and you’ll be totally hooked again.

Come on wunty you know how good new From content is on release, the abundant co-op signs, the funny messages, the community working together to figure out the secrets... it's special.

I saw an article somewhere the other day that said only 34% of Xbox, 38% of PS and 40% of PC players met the requirements to actually access the DLC.
I do wonder if that will heavily reflect in the day one sales.

Probably why it's mainly digital so they can't get a refund when they realise

Remind me what the requirements are.
I mean, I don’t need them because I’m not getting it. But remind me.

But remind me. /sweats Apparently you have to beat Radahn (huge Ganon looking guy you fight in eastern Caelid, you can raid him with like ten other NPC phantoms) and the true Mohg in his Mausoleum, since the access point is the cocoon in his arena (there's a "fake", weaker Mohg in Leyndell Sewers, he doesn't count). I'm actually not sure why you have to beat Radahn, since you can get to Mohg with Varré's medallion way before then (I don't even think you have to beat Godrick), but that's what I've seen... And really, if you can manage Mohg Radahn should be easy anyway

Oh yeah. That’s fine then I’ve got about three chaps at the pre Elden beast point.
Right. I’m reinstalling it to see if I’m in the mood.

But I bet the reason for Radahn having to die has something to do with the stars moving again or something. Or maybe Nokron is another key location for some reason...? Who knows. Well, I guess after the Red Bull stream today the answer might already be around, but I'll try to avoid getting spoiled like hell

Are you sure about that? I thought the two demigods thing was for Leyndell access (not Altus, mind, I know you can get there in a couple hours if you collect the medallion halves for the lift, just Leyndell is sealed)... Edit: yeah, pretty much everywhere I can find says that Varré only needs the one Great Rune (and talking to Enia in the Hold) to go to Rose Church. You do have to beat at least one demigod (so likely Godrick), I was wrong about that, but it doesn't look like you need two

Whenever I paid attention to his location, he switched after killing two. Come to think of it, maybe that was because I always talk to her after two demigods because I just want the talisman pouch. I always thought the fingers admitting you to Leyndell was the trigger.

I'll be using the FG group password on PC, PS and XB, so if you see any of my dumbfuck messages on your travels through the Land of Shadow, please give them a like - I'll do the same, I promise!

If I put FG as the main password I’m more likely to see FG messages but still also get messages from randos, right?
I think when I started before, I had FG as the group password, and then as I was so much slower than everyone else (completionist play style) I fell behind and saw hardly any summons, messages etc.

My main is lv160 so I should be just fine for the DLC. Wasn’t a conscious choice to be at 160 by the end (I didn’t abuse the chicken), just, as I said, completionist

Going to take Barry Handshakes in first. He is dual wielding rivers of blood and malenias sword, knights cavalry armour, black hood, black skin and frenzy eyes means he looks like a ruddy nazghul. He looks so cool it’ll be even more amusing when I get relentlessly killed because a) I’ve forgotten how to play it and b) I was crap in the first place.

Yep that should be fine.
I'm looking forward to the new weapon types, the martial arts one looks fun as hell.

If I’m not mistaken I believe the rivers of blood got severely nerfed. Not sure though. Just what my friend told me and he’s way more knowledgeable and upto date than I.
