You're all welcome - it's at Kenwood Hall, Sheffield Ringwood Hall, Chesterfield. Gotcha. See you next year. Or I'll see the Dodds's next year. Whatever. So long as there are canapes. A group of apes is called a shrewdness, not a can

Was listening to Papa Was a Rollin' Stone the other day, and pondered: when he left, did the papa in question leave the family alone (as in on their own) or a loan (as in an unpaid dept), or both?
For some reason I had always heard it as "a loan", but rumour had it he never worked a day in his life, and would beg, borrow or steal. That makes it seem he would be an unlikely candidate for credit, so I'm inclined to go for "alone", but am undecided.

They seemed a lovely couple from the brief glance of the photo we saw before scarpering. I didn't think anyone young enough to be married was still called Dodds in 2024. Are you sure you haven't experienced a timeslip to 1974?
Was there cheese and pickled onions on cocktail sticks being passed around?
And what exactly do you have against cheese and pickled onions on cocktail sticks?

Absolutely nothing. In fact I'm all for them. Pop a bit of pineapple on there too and I am, quite simply, your bitch.

You're all welcome - it's at Kenwood Hall, Sheffield Right that's an invite right there. OK, everyone needs to bring their significant other to the wedding and then pretend they don't know them after like 5 minutes of arriving.

Dammit Jambo. Now it looks like I meant a film of what you said. Although I think a film of the FG massive at a wedding would be amazing. A bit like My Big Fat Greek Wedding meets Event Horizon. Shit, I was just about to post "My Big Font Geek Wedding?" quoting you and then I refreshed the page Id like to rate that film with my terrible opinion.

Leaving them something would normally be positive but in papa's case he left them loneliness. But I do like the idea he left them with a payday loan at 300% Apr.

The lyrics to Human League's "Don't You Want Me" are basically a stalkers' manifesto.

Top sales tip: show everyone that your item's price's dropped several times already, so that customers will think "damn, I need to get it now before it drops again"

Anyway, why does Youtube keep recommending me atheists vs. theists argument videos all the time? I never watch anything even remotely related and that question has been settled for me a long time ago. It's as if they kept recommending me videos arguing about the existence of Santa Claus. I don't care! Go away!

Camping with some friends for the bank holiday weekend. Last time we did it 2 years ago, it was glorious all weekend long. Even my wife thought she could get onboard with this camping malarkey (as long as our friends brought all their gear). Yesterday, not so much. Driving rain and 40mph winds to set up, so we all got soaked. The tent also appears to have got so saturated it was just leaking through. Then the winds all night buffeted us and no-one slept a wink. At least it's sunny today but torrential rain overnight forecast so I may struggle to get her to stay. Hmm.

I think it's all part of the experience qnd thought it was quite funny once we'd got it up. My wife, less so. Also did a BBQ for 12 in the rain after the onsite takeaway shop ran out of food. Peaceful now though.

We’re going to be in a similar position next week but with me sat out in the midgies nursing a pan over a Trangia while all the other families on the site probably use gas barbeques and have brought mess tents as well as sleeping ones.
I’m all for keeping it relatively primitive though. If I can remember to buy a new funnel for decanting liquid fuel from the gallon my dad just gave me into my pack bottle.

Does a fully charged battery weigh more than a flat one?

Absolutely guilty as charged with the gas bbq. Which is a good job as plans went to shit a bit. It's the only thing I brought to contribute to the kit though, everything else is borrowed/shared across the 3 families. Including the event shelter, which I didn't know was a thing.
