Couldn't apologise enough! Thankfully we were only invited to the evening do (starting to see why) so we didn't interrupt any formalities. Probably just as well. "If anyone can see any reason why these two shouldn't get married, speak now" "Wait! I don't fucking know these people! Call it off!"

They seemed a lovely couple from the brief glance of the photo we saw before scarpering.

I'm wondering if rhaegyr's missus is gonna be searching things like "Does the groom actually have to be at the wedding?". She's going to walk in one afternoon while you're sat on the sofa in your boxers covered in whatsit dust and a can of cider in your hand, chuck a fancy looking gift box with a wedding ring in it at ya and say "Put that on, we're married. It was a wonderful wedding, everyone had a lovely time.".

Was there cheese and pickled onions on cocktail sticks being passed around?

Hah, believe it or not but they looked like they were in their 50s/60s.

It does go to show just how lax security is at weddings. Realistically how long do you think you could have stayed at the other one with better spreads?

Probably for a while to be honest.
Bride and Groom are always busy talking to everyone at weddings and each side of the wedding will just think it's someone from the other side.
Karma would be some random couple turning up at my wedding next year.

Dammit Jambo. Now it looks like I meant a film of what you said.
Although I think a film of the FG massive at a wedding would be amazing. A bit like My Big Fat Greek Wedding meets Event Horizon.

I wedding crashed when I was a wee slip of a lad. Was out and about with some mates on the last night of Cowes Week (usually a big night out) and was looking for a party. Wandered into a marquee and thought it was what we were looking for. Grabbed a beer and realised it was not after all. No-one paid us any attention. Was dull so left quickly.

I'd much sooner go to a stranger's wedding than anyone I know.

Yeah, it was a great venue.
Only downside was they had two weddings going on at the same time next to each other and the other wedding party had booked out the minigolf part of the grounds exclusively (and consequently complained when a few of my mates friends had a game). Felt a bit cramped at times, especially at the bar.

Tune in next week when I attend the wrong funeral or turn up at a different job.
