What a wonderful evening. Sitting on the deck of my boat, watching the sunset (not on the Eurogamer forum - a real one) with a glass of scotch.
The local shop had a deal on wagon wheels, i'm one day away from finishing my training at work and i'm just jamming on my accordion. There's a slight breeze, and when it rustles the trees it's like all of the gods are speaking directly to me.

Look, i just hope this doesn't mean that someone is going to either try to Cape Fear me, or show up at Chelmsford's surviving bowling alley and mess up my date. Because that would be seriously fucked up.
I'm not going to even acknowledge the 'you're a sock' type posts, because in a moment of weakness i did last night and immediately felt bad about it. I'm not about belittling others, even in a joking way (which happens to me often here - but i always roll with the punches because i didn't think anyone was being serious).

Anyway, all the talk of parping in the other thread got me thinking as I was in the gym earlier....with loads of people working from home for 18 months, are we going to find loads of office workers unable to avoid parping in the office? I still dont parp around the GF - particularly after Lockdown weight gains as they all trumpet their arrival - so should be alright. More worried about co workers scratching their balls and such

Trufax: my Latin teacher got all excited and recommended we watch Chelmsford 1, 2, 3 as the first episode was mostly in Latin. The next day he apologised to us all for the profanity in it.
From that, you can a) work out how old I am and b) see that I went to a posh nobs school.

Meds mean that I have a rather active digestive tract and I don't want to sabotage the best relationship I have ever had through sheer force of gas. Much easier/safer to leave the room for a moment (we work, and then leisure in the same space all day, pretty much). The one time she parped in my presence she could barely speak for a day out of shame, so I'm sort of extending the courtesy. |
