I see. I've got to wait until it unlocks, cashed in a load of MS rewards and grabbed the all singing all dancing version full of crap that I'll never use. I'm assuming that we'll be good to go at midnight and not the middle of tomorrow afternoon.

I ploughed through 5 and New Dawn earlier this year, so if it's just more of the same I'll probably wait until it's £20 and play it next year when I'm not so burned out on it.
I'm part of the problem though - janky as it is, I enjoy the formula. If they're gonna mix it up big stylee, I'd prefer they just start a new franchise for it.

Played maybe 2 hours, very happy so far. I think I it is certainly going to be better than the fairly lacklustre 5.
I looked at cheveo list and nowhere did I read "host only" cheveo's, so hopefully they have done away with that stupid system ? There are a few for single player campaign however...?

Supposedly takes 36 hours to platinum I vaguely remember reading last night, which seems exceptionally short for a UBI game.
I'm still on the fence with this and will probably grab it next year when they're practically giving away the PC version (or just sub to Uplay+ for a month and smash through it)
Skillup's review makes me think it definitely doesn't need to be a day 1 purchase seeing as I've played every FC game and chunk of DLC. Helicopters look beyond annoying when solo, but could be fun in coop I suppose.

Quite enjoying it so far. The new setting is pretty cool and makes a nice change having some more populated areas around. The music is great and the shooting feels decent, plus whilst it can be a bit of a faff, the new ammo type vs enemy resistences makes approaching outposts and combat a little different than before.

I ended up buying this. Thanks for nothing, dfunked! Liking it so far though. It does feel closer to 3 than the last numbered games have, though that’s probably mostly just the tropical paradise that you’re murdering everyone in. |

Played around 8 hours of this and really enjoying. Just did a special mission, which was fun also a spot of cockfighting. Flown and driven several different vehicles. Met the sausage dog and immediately "blinged" it with a new outfit, speaking of which Dani is in Blood Dragon outfit.
At the moment I would rank it above 4 and 5, not that I didn't enjoy and have fun with those. One thing I do miss is the perk trees, although the ammo and mods are pretty good.

Apparently Russian ps4 disc version has been sold in the uk, quite widespread. Stops you upgrading to ps5 unless you make a Russian account.

Very much enjoying this. Probably about 7-8 hours in and the games really opening up. Yep, icons everywhere on the map but I’m having a lot of fun with this.

I’m enjoying it for the most part but there’s a ton of general quality issues that are spoiling it quite a bit. Ranging from bugs (it’s spawned me in the middle of a structure more than once so far), to just glaring oversights (a character can call you on the radio when you’re standing in front of them, and their model does nothing)
Also still hasn’t quite got the balance right for the difficulty. Once again it’s like a switch flicked suddenly from “you are rubbish and all your guns are useless” to “you are the Terminator and don’t need to give a shit about planning assaults” with nothing in the middle.

gremmi is pretty spot on. The game has dashboarded about 4 times now and at this very moment won't load at all. Telling me "The operation took longer than expected please try again later"...
Also had my pets get stuck in the ground and a person I had to follow, just refuse to move on her horse. It is a shame as the game is fun, maybe a little too similar to the JC series. I enjoy those, well 1 and 2, but want a bit more from FC. Lastly totally agree re the two skill options, the default has already had some fecker spikes when defending against waves of enemies, I did change ammo and gear, but still bloody hard,while the "story mode" allows to just stand and fire.
