The loading screen art was way better than the actual game in 99% of those cases. The guy was an unsung hero.

The problem with Peter Gunn is that it’s one of those pieces of music that everyone’s heard, but don’t know the name. The name provokes an “eh?”, but listening to it gets an “oh, that” youtu.be/HwVD3CZ90jk?si=iRK9gDZ9IhRzY7i0

Paul Auster’s death was sad. I went through a phase when younger of reading pretty much everything he’d written at the time.

Very sad news of CJ Sansom passing. I love the Shardlake series of books, we have been awaiting the 8th story for several years, but I think the cancer was too aggressive in his final years. The fact he died only a few days before the tv series started is also pretty sad.

Hi mate, Disney (dfunked answered) I will watch this week, the series is based off the first book, Dissolution. I have to say I'm not sure of the casting of Mathew S, but we will see. Anton Lesser who narrates the audio books would have been my choice, but he was probably too old.

Oh. I don't have Disney+, and I don't really want to add another sub service.

Every now and again I'll go back to watch that scene of the Ride of the Rohirrim because it deserves it. RIP

My heart dropped reading that. I was just looking around to see how much the new Shellac CD (due a week on Friday) will cost.
God fucking damn it.
