So this morning the car decided it may or may not be breaking down. Now the kitchen tap has decided this is the best night to break leaving hot water running out at a faster rate than it has at any point of our tenancy. Plumber on route...
These things always come in threes right? What fucking next?

I have not had Pizza Hut in years. Had some for lunch today and it is AWFUL. Jesus. I think I'm gonna be sick. Pizza Hut pan pizza, double pepperoni, mushrooms and black olives is the best pizza in the world (as long as it’s from a competent branch, sadly my new local doesn’t come close to my old one). Artisanal Italian pizza doesn’t match up to a squidgy pile of salty fat.

If your pets weren't so cute, I would request a ban.

It was a sad day for adolescent me when Pizzaland went bust.
They used to have Sbarro over here until they pulled out of the UK (like 20 years ago!) Their pizzas were fantastic and proper fuckoff American sized.
Edit: just read we have them again in big cities since a couple of years ago. Sadly, none around my way.

Went to the British Museum today on a rare day out. They just opened a Stonehenge exhibit which is right up our alley. £20.
It was not worth £20.
It was barely about Stonehenge, it should have been called Neolithic Life, with special guest Stonehenge. Most of the things on display came from Scandinavia, Germany or the occasional bit from England but even then it was usually Yorkshire.
There was far too many people in the exhibit, even pre covid it would have been too many. So many people clogging up displays, most of them standing directly in front of a display so anyone else has no chance of reading the texts. I always made a point of standing back a bit so that several people could read and look all at the same time, but then some numpty would sidle right in front like a cunt.
Then on the way back it was rail replacement buses. We got a coach. Nice right? Well, I haven't been on a coach in a fair while, but if this one is any indication they've tried to cram in as many seats as possible now. There was no leg room whatsoever! I'm not a tall man, when I buy trousers I usually opt for the short leg option, but I had to wedge my legs into these seats. After 5 minutes I had to swivel my legs out into the aisle as my legs were hurting too much, and the arm rests wouldn't budge either, so you're just stuck. Fucking awful.
I'm staying home from now on.

Oh and we went to the British history section in the normal museum, and looked at the Stonehenge bit and saw that there were loads of bits missing as they'd moved them to the exhibit. Fucking paywall shit.

I've been fascinated by the Neolithic ever since I had to learn about it to teach it. There was obviously a lot going on we know so little about because writing wasn't a thing then.

If Forza Horizon 4 could recreate Stonehenge, so could the British Museum, bruh!
But I do sympathize with sarf getting mad at the one jerk off standing in front of you while you're trying to make space for other short people. I deal with that a lot, but I actually speak up because I'm from LA and we have that friendly/dickhead dichotomy.

As an Irish person we'd be similar to the British regarding being too quiet/not being rude/not wanting to cause a scene.
Though as I've gotten older I've cared less about this. I've recently given out to a taxi driver for his ridiculous parking, which forced me to take my pram onto the road as he had blocked up the footpath.
Either I've gotten more confident/give less of a shit or my years of simmering rage are about to erupt and I'll go on a murderous rampage and end up as the subject of a docuseries on Netflix.

I'd just like to state for the record I've never liked LegendaryGape. He always just seemed a bit weird to me, like something was off. I thought one day that man's going to do something terrible to someone

I see I'm not the only one worried about this thread getting leaked to the papers if anyone here happens to be a Met officer.
I don't know any of them. I was just passing by.

I don't know if you used to get the same over at RPS, but at EG, we'd regularly get some random re-registering to unleash a diatribe of incel-related rants. Whilst I don't think anyone took it seriously, it was definitely the sort of thing that would end up in the papers. I wonder if any were saved?

We had a guy who would pop up once a month to ask a seemingly innocent question, that always happened to be somewhat alt-right inspired. And then never post again in that thread. But a month or two later he'd pop up with a new thread and a new question.
I forget his name though.

Delivery company: Mr Bennett, is xxxxx your correct address? Me: Yes, that is correct. Delivery company: Yes, but what is the actual number of your house? Me: The number you just gave me, it's X Delivery company: No, we want the other number. Me: What other number? It's a small street with 2 houses ours is number X Delivery company: Just one minute please, *distant loud voices* Delivery company: Are you sure there is not another number? Me: Yes, quite certain. Delivery company. OK thankyou.
I mean it's been 5 days, clearly not one of the numpties even bothered to check google maps. Absolutely incapable of thinking for themselves. Normally we don't have problems with this company. Can only assume the regular old boy died of covid because I know he knows where we live.

I think the problem is that X isn't a number.
