Random Rants (for Rob the Robber but I have beef anyway)

I can sleep through any alarm and I use a very obnoxious rooster one which rarely wakes me up at the first attempt.

I have to go to the post office in covidville because of the brexit separatists and pay 30 odd euro to pick up a package from a charity. Been waiting all morning because our bustling hubs post office only opens for 2 hours a day and I really could do with a nap but can't until a worker is finished in the garden.
Meh.
Oh and last week of holidays, it's been a good run I guess.

Bloody hell, and now the 30 euro plush is lost and the little one is in tears.

edit: Now found because the little genius gave it to his Mother to hold onto who has been in a teams call for the last hour and he forgot.

It's kind of irritating how many games start with having to read and accept a privacy policy. And the decline option is a lie because if you decline to have your info shared it just goes back to the start splash page, not letting you play until you've accepted.

The Student Loans Company are fucking cunts. Fuck their shitty website, and fuck them for having no email address. However they can mainly get fucked for wanting me to make ridiculous monthly repayments. I wonder if they even think about cost of living and inflation for people overseas (of course not). Oh well, looks like I'll be eating like a student this year. The absolute cunts.

Unfortunately not. Because of the type of sound, you can still hear it pretty well with ear plugs. At least the disposable ones I have. Its a deep sound so it just oozes through. It also sounds more clicky with earplugs, for some reason.

Quite bloody annoyed, as much with myself as the thing that pissed me off.

Went to the local cafe as a treat. Found a nice seat and got to the counter where someone was being served. Waited patiently for some time. Another couple came in, approached the counter and the girl serving asked them what they wanted. I turned to my wife and told her I was being completely ignored and couldn't believe what was happening. Decided we were going and told the girl we were leaving and it was because she'd ignored me. Seems she noticed I existed at that point.

I'm angry with myself for not saying "hang on, what about me?" when the dopey pillock started asking the other couple. Also angry with myself that I let it ruin something we were looking forwards to as we don't get much time together.

That said, there was some goby woman holding court taking to get friend, so that would have probably done my head in anyway.

Yea I can't be doing with crappy service in cafe's/restaurants, walked out of plenty because the staff ignore us, they're always indifferent when you leave.

My wife and I have a really low tolerance for that kind of shit. We've walked out of restaurants a number of times. It's not a great feeling but it's the right thing to do when the service is shitty. Don't feel bad about it - just go somewhere better!

I've left without paying a couple of times when I've had that done to me.

These days I ask for the bill as soon as I've ordered dessert / final drinks / whatever.  Fuck waiting around for people to come back at their leisure.
