And it would also depend how insufferable the girl was IRL. It’s genuinely 100% why I chose that ending.

Late to the party, but after bouncing off returnal a bit I thought I’d try this. Enjoying it so far.

Just killed so I guess the game starts proper now. Going to first. I’m assuming the tactic is to try to kill a visionary each loop and infuse their slab. Then once you are good and levelled try to take them all out in one loop (which is what I understand my target to be). That seems like a logical approach anyway.

Reading back over the last few pages, hope some of the bugs have been fixed.

Levelling is kind of irrelevant. Once you have a few decent weapons, you’re set. You just have to work out the order/tricks to kill them.

It’s probably more important to infuse a stealth weapon and an ‘argh get off me’ weapon to start making headway.

There’s a silenced SMG in the portakabin near the start of the facility level. Get that, equip the range and zoom trinkets and it’s EZ mode. It makes stealth much easier because you can headshot pretty much everything from anywhere. I found going in loud is a bit of a pain in the arse (although I never really tuned my build for it because stealth is overwhelmingly powerful)

When you say facility, do you mean Compound?

Annoyingly I’m back to the start of the level I was on with everything reset. I’m not desperate for the shift slab as I already got it off Julianna and have it infused. So I could just skip it and get this gun. A silenced gun would make things a lot easier.

The Wolf mask party was when my game would quickly turn into John Wick.

Some git would always see me and ruin my stealth attempt.

I played through the whole thing on my AMD 5700HX/Nvidia 3080 laptop and it was flawless. Not that it helps you.

If you can sort it out, it's well worth a play. One of the best games of recent years IMO. It doesn't actually take as long as you initially think it will either once you get into it.

My playthroughs of Everspace 2 & Cyberpunk 2077 have officially gone on hold until I complete this.

It's gone from something that I was randomly playing when I got the urge to be utterly engrossed in it and grabbing any free moment to play it to rack up 29 hours since Thursday o_0

Fristaad Rock as a map area is amazingly realised. So much awesome detail and the design is bonkers as you peer over Comms bunker down theough the cave to the water at the bottom and grasp the scale and complexity in layers.

Frank, Egor, Aleksis and Hariet investigations seen through to what I think are conclusions. The full loop is coming into focus now but I'm not rushing it and I'm just enjoying the shit out of it.

Yeah I got hooked on it around the 3rd loop.
Everything just started clicking for me at that point.

Game is so broken on PC. Abandoned it because it would crash literally every 5 minutes and comments online did not offer any fixes.
