Don't think there's a thread for this so I gone and made one. If there is and I'm too stupid to find it, just shoot this one.
Looks like my type of game, all sneaky killing in that distinctive Arkane way. Still not sure on it though. Anyone thinking of picking it up?

Massive fan of Prey and Dishonored but nothing I've seen of this has me excited yet. From the trailers it seems fairly action-oriented and fast paced, but I like to play Arkane game slowly and stealthily. Will read the reviews with great interest.

It seems such an odd departure from what they're known for, I'm a tad unsure. At the same time, I thought Dishonored 2 and Prey were two of the absolute best games of this gen, so it'd be rude not to.
Reminds me I've still got the Prey DLC untouched.

Previews all sound pretty great (Martin from the other place was gushing about it), but knowing full well that I'll get a game for "free" as soon as the console exclusivity runs out means I'll probably just wait this one out.
Never quite clicked with Dishonored or Prey too, so would've been a risky purchase for me.

I like the look of this, and the previews all seem to be positive, so I took advantage of the recent ebay 15% discount and pre-ordered it...
I've never played Dishonoured (despite owning it), but Deathloop looks like a fun and fast shooter, which should tick my boxes.
I can always cancel my order if the reviews turn out to be bad...

I'm not sure I even understand how it works yet. I'll probably hang fire, I've got Demons and Returnal now the long nights are drawing in.Plus my credit card bill just landed, and I appear to have lost track of my spending a bit these last few months. Oops.

I have far too much to play and I don't need this but I don't very often buy a game on release (saying that this will be the third one this year) so thought, from a dev I trust, I can take the punt.

I read a few of the previews last night - they make it sounds like you can play this in a quite a few different ways - indeed going in all guns blazing probably isn't the best method. All were pretty positive, so anticipation has jumped a few notches!

Yeah from what I've seen the full frontal assault tends to get you killed as you don't seem to be able to take too much damage.

The last gameplay thing I saw looked great with all the cool gadgets you have at your disposal.
What I'm most interested to know though is whether this has a typically awful Arkane trophy list that actively discourages you from using all the best stuff.

I feel like this has snuck up on me and after the last trailer I’m interested.
I never got on with dishonored so didn’t really take much notice, this looks like enough of a departure from that. I never played Prey.

I feel like I do not mesh with these type of games, lacking the imagination to play them creatively, and ending up just murdering everybody in the room instead. (Kinda how my Cyberpunk playthrough is going just now)
Won't be buying it full price anyway, logged as one for the future if anything
