I have a purple one that makes me like a rock or something and I wonder if it's done the same for them too (although the description doesn't say that!). I think that's it. If it's the one I'm thinking of it reduces the amount of damage you take massively and does the same for the enemies. Loving it so far. Also the few instances where Colt's ability isn't of much use/nullified are pretty tense. Though it's fake tension as even if you fail there's still plenty more to do. |

Thanks, going to remove it and see what gives. Also, 2-bit is an annoying shite for remembering stuff. Getting more difficult to see him now, so I've stopped going for charlie there to see if that helps. |

If you’ve already infused a slab but have to drop it to pick up another one does that mean it’s gone and you’d need to get it again? Essentially does infusing mean it’s mine for ever or does that just prevent it from being lost when I die?

If you drop it and its infused you 'lose' it until you start the next loop.

So that trinket *was* the issue. It even says it made me and everyone else tougher. Dagnammit. Missing loot due to my own stupidity again. Picked most up again last night doing some other stuff and all was back to normal. Now can get four guests to the party, so it's all coming together. Bah. Thought I’d be smart and try and power up all the generators in one go. The last is surrounded by mines and I accidentally triggered them… which went and destroyed the on switch 🥹

If you’ve already infused a slab but have to drop it to pick up another one I didn't think you could drop them? How does that work? I've already had a few I couldn't pick up because I didn't have room for them. |

You can swap them, but then lose the use of the slab you dropped until the next loop when you get it back and can put t back into you loadout.
I find a few slabs I don't use much anyway. Beyond shift, nexus and aether I don't feel the others have that much use or place.
Fugue especially. I guess it might help with stealth, but I'm not about to try it much. even havoc and karnesis haven't got that much use from me.
Not sure if I'm doing this wrong, or what!

Nah, pretty much my usage too.
Thought my memory was failing me with the interesting looking weapon in Weinjes lab, but turns out it’s a new addition with the Goldenloop update. I need to get my hands on it.

It runs out of charge fairly quick though. Well, maybe not *that* quick... I used it on the wenjies and it ran out not long after.
Maybe good for 20 peeps. Or spraying an angry juliana. Hmm, maybe I should carry it more then in case she appears, but i like my rapier, silenced LIMP and shotty combo.

Not sure I'll complete this. It's fun now I have all the slabs and loads of fun guns but I can't be bothered to investigate everything. So many great ideas and fun mechanics but I hate the way the menus are and all the clue lists and various things you are meant to track.
Comfortably my least fav arkane game but maybe it will click soon. Fingers crossed.

You don't really *have* to track anything, because ethe menu system by default prompts you where to go and what to do. I do remember a point where there's just so many threads you feel a bit swamped, but it definitely clicks.
YMMV but this is still my favourite game of theirs I think.

I'm sure I'll give it another go today. Might run with the invisibility and blink and try and a few runs of stealth. 99% of my time with it some far I've been playing it like I'm the terminator. The sniper with scope and fast reload trinket is so op it's great. Then switch to the vampire SMG if I take damage and I'm almost invincible. I'm guessing because I've terminated the whole game I've missed certain clues etc on getting them all dead in one loop.

I did something really dumb last night. Worked through a level and found a whole pile of info and weapon upgrades. Was on my way to the exit and accidentally fell in the water and died. :-( so sad. At least you keep all the discoveries but I’ll have to do it again.

Fugue gets a lot more interesting with the Syncopation and Discord upgrades, which makes the target hostile to other eternalists and then contagious once they die. Very useful (and fun) at the party, as you can imagine. |

Did it again last night. By 'it' I mean kill juliana and two others, get nice slab upgrades/lots of residium then die due to being too cocky exploring on my last life.

Completed my first loop and I find this game so hard.
There's so much to love about it - it feels like the Bioshock sequel we all deserve, and then some - but somehow the stakes feel so high that it's really stressful. Moreso than a Soulsbourne game. Maybe I just need to chill and die a few times but I absolutely dread it, and I'm not sure that's how the game is meant to be played.

Omfg, got 5 of 'em in one loop, but it glitched on the infuse at end of the day screen. Couldn't see any options etc. Thankfully, a shut down of game & reboot loaded it up at the end of day/infuse screen, so at least it had saved, so i got my upgrades etc.
I *think* i can actually finish it now if i get a perfect run. If...
