He's a grumpy fucker. Full of character though. His brother is more placid but doesn't really like anyone other than me. Gus will go to anyone if he wants attention but on his terms (obviously). Walk near him and he'll have a swipe and hiss if he is in a grump. |

Have you checked your cat's diet? There's some people have been saying their cats in Purina have been over grooming and when they changed diets that stopped it. Might well not be the case, but thought I'd let you know. Flakey skin could be lack of moisture in the diet or again the diet itself. |

Fortunately our two dogs never really chewed up much, a corner of one skirting board and a chair leg have a few nibbles on them, but other than that they were pretty good.

Yeah, Maj chewed a bit of wall once. Nothing else, which is amazing considering what a bitey shit he can be.

There's a patch of wallpaper at the top of our stairs that's been absolutely scratched to shit a couple of feet up. Seems to be a prime stretch and scratch spot for our two and the previous owner. Apart from that they're not too bad and seem to stick to their cat trees.
It's horrible wallpaper anyway. Just need to drum up the enthusiasm to strip it and repaint.

Missed this - they are on dried food only (Wellness Core) but always have plenty of water. Last check up, the vet said he thought it was anxiety, and recommended a Feliway, which has done nothing for this cat, but his brother is much more chilled! This one also has an allergy to flea bites and we were a week or so late a few months ago. All clear now but may have something to do with it. |

KD - any luck with the ginger fella? He’s fine, my auntie knew what house he’s from so that’s enough for me. I made a bed for him in the shed and he stopped using the chair and just uses that now, started as a big box but I lined it with foil insulation and stuffed an old quilt in it for now. Got a visitor for Xmas (the vet in training) and she wants to do it properly with straw so it doesn’t freeze. Tbh I just think he likes to get stoned, it’s what I use my shed for. |
