If we got a dog instead of the slightly less hassle cats, it'd be something like that goban. Love the lurcher/whippet types. Such placid & good natured dogs from what I've seen.
A cava or cockerpoo would also be good for some daft happy eejit dog action too. Everyone of those i have met has been great fun.

LOL, here in Switzerland Gruyère is the bog-standard cheese you buy if you're not in the mood for something fancy.
Also, we bought her from a Bavarian breeder, so she better like Swiss cheese and not some weisswurst lederhosen shit.

Himalayan Yak Milk Chews. We have discovered Penny's favourite thing in the world. Ever. It's hilarious as when she is done for the moment she goes off somewhere in the house to hide it for later. She's so far managed to bury it under her bed, bury it in our bed (I had to help her by putting it under a few blankets, only then was she happy and after a final bodge with her nose, wandered off), bury it in the back of the couch and at one point sat outside the boys room whining to be let in (with it hanging out her mouth like a cigar) purely so she could get in to hide it amongst the pile of build-a-bears he keeps in the corner.

As we have no car, Wilma needs to be carried a lot for now, so she got a new means of personal transport: a backpack! The back can even fold out, which is more Transformers than expected for a backpack.   |

So, new developments with the Penny. Hoping for a little bit of insight!
She has quite a few toys and she plays with all of them. One in particular is a pig that's maybe about the size of her head plus dangly arms and legs. It's a courdoroy type thing, soft and stuffed with squeakers in it.
The last week she has focused all her attention on this. Whining at it, sitting beside it an whining, carrying it around and whining. Sometimes she'll go at it and do the whole shake head tear thing but most of the time she doesn't. She brings it to me and I throw it or tug at it for tug of war but most of the time she just releases it and when I throw it she doesn't race after it but trots, and then whines when she reaches it.
This is a maternal thing isn't it? We're thinking she's approaching her second season and some mothering insitincts are kicking in. No physical changes to her yet and no discharge or anything. She has been licking her privates a bit more though and does seem more tense than usual, and a bit more barky.
Apart from that she's her usual happy self. Eating well. Drinking well. Toilet is consistent etc.
