So all the fish we rescued into a spare tank have survived and are perking right up which is good. What I find odd is that the tank comes with lights which is normal but it has options to cycle through a bunch of colours like a disco and it even has an option to simulate lightning. Seems like a terrifying prospect for the little fishies.

I thought he was just English. He's definitely speaking doggish for "Oi!"

If you give her a bath she’s basically a fluffy rat with a giant head. She’s under 2 kilos even though she looks like a normal sized cat. And she’s a Persian.

If you can't share direct, you can reupload them here imgbb.com/ without an account

Argh, I'm such a forum plonker. This is the link to my pooch - photos.app.goo.gl/7gzKGwpQcmmgM2EbAI'm trying to link it by highlighting it then clicking the 'Insert Image' but it just shows as a broken link when posting (as below). That link doesn't work either

Dudley's in love with a Bernese Mountain Dog called Bruno. They're such gentle loafs. For sure. I feel sorry for mine; he's always gentle in sniffing other dogs but a lot of them after they've sniffed him will either growl, snarl or just walk off. In typical fashion it's usually the smaller dogs that go for him/bark at him. Dogs similar to his size are a bit more agreeable. The only ones really interested in him are either really young or, strangely, really old. Is this just a general thing that goes with owning a large dog? Only had a staffy before him.

I think it might be a large dog thing. Our doodle is similarly gentle but some small dogs can get barky at her. I think they felt threatened by her size. Now she's older she just tends to ignore below a certain size.
