I just used the Imgur app for mine. When you've uploaded click the share button and copy the link (the one ending with .jpg, not the other link they give you) Then paste that into IMG tags.
I'm presuming my pics are working for people other than me of course...

Nice... Maine Coons are impressive units.
One of those animals you just look at and think "their shits must be huge!"

When we got our boy at 9 months old he was on a diet of Whiskas dry and Felix wet and dear god his farts could clear rooms... Absolutely fucking vile! They're on James Wellbeloved indoor kibble and Purina one indoor and I can't remember the last time I smelt a pump. Ours will only eat dry food (bar the odd bit of tuna/chicken). We tried so many different types of wet and they just didn't touch it. They seem happy and healthy enough. And if they really want raw meat, they just go and kill it.

That is big for femailes. Mine was 1/2 the size of the boy! Not liking the sound of a 1 year wait. Maybe I need to get my order in now for replacements!

Any tips for dealing with fleas? Our 3 foster kittens have somehow managed to get them despite never having been outside the flat. They've had their spot on treatment so the fleas we find on them are mostly dead or dying, but we spend ages brushing them out every day then the next there are loads again.

Yeah, I got lucky with the size. The larger one was the runt of the litter!
Re. the wait time: I'm based in Stockholm and could have probably got one earlier had I looked around. I've chosen a breeder that consistently has really pretty cats, so I'm happy to hold fire until the right cat is ready for me. I didn't apply until 8 or 9 months after losing the last two to the ex, so I've been pet-less for a while.

If you have them they'll live everywhere.

Do you mean Frontline Spot-On or the completely useless Bob Martin spot On? In anycase We used to use the Frontline Spot On and it seemed OK but then it started not working despite allsorts of methods/daily combing, fogging the rooms, powders etc, then we switched to Advantage and not a flea since! I believe that fleas have become a bit immune to the Spot-On brand.

We had issues since moving into this place and no amount of deep cleaning helped. Get a pest control expert in to treat the floors and stuff would be my advice. (no vacuuming for 21 days which is a bit grim!) At the same time we also changed from advocat, which didn't seem to be helping for longer than a week, to something that lasts 3 months instead of 1 that I can't recall the name of (only ever go with vet prescriptions for treatment!!)
Saw one hatchling two weeks after getting our house treated but nothing since then thankfully.
Probably an ideal time to do it now as the first frost should kill off any fleas outside so less chance of a reinfection over winter.

Feels wrong lining up a replacement before the boy is gone, and if he was still aliove it would probably finish him off!
As for the thread title my house does indeed smell of piss. Took him to the vets as he had blood in his urine and was using the whole house as his litter tray and they recon it is stress!

We got some house spray as well so will give that a go.

Hmm, noticed one or two fleas the other week on one of ours, but nothing since treating again with (I think) the Frontline that gets posted from Pets at Home. May switch the stronghold if they reappear.

I'm obviously slightly biased, but yeah. They're the best. Major makes friends wherever he goes. Even the cats like him. 😁

Stupid mutt. Barks at anything and everything and still can't bet let off her lead as she's an utter mare with other dogs. But, she came as part of the deal with my partner so I suffer in silence

The kids managed to talk my wife into buying a rabbit. A dwarf ram rabbit, and even though I fought it until the end I have to admit it's really cute.
Still kind of dull as a pet since you can't have it running around indoors. I'm allergic anyway so that wouldn't have been a thing no matter what.

Indoor rabbits are a thing. Obviously not with the allergies but you absolutely can do it. Rabbits are cool.

My missus/youngest are determined to get a bloody hamster FFS, we have two cats already and it's kinda doable but it'll just be a right PITA, wouldn't mind a rabbit though they seem pretty cool. We want a dog if we ever move house if we can ever agree on a breed.

Our cats were obsessed with our hamster while we had him. Pretty much had to shut him in a room to himself to avoid stressing him out. I wouldn't recommend it at all tbh!
He was a funny little guy... Got unsurprisingly overlooked by everybody else for rehoming due to his prolapsed anus.
Rats are much better pets, but again I wouldn't fancy having one with two older cats.

Yes that's exactly what my research has taught me but the boy/missus seem unperturbed.
/sigh
Perhaps it's cage will be left ajar one night .....

As part of our ongoing battle with fleas we had the bright idea of giving the cats a shower and shampoo.
Fast forward an hour and the state of my wrists suggest I should be put on a suicide watch list, my wife hit her head on the taps in the struggle and has blood poring down her face and our bathroom resembles a set from a cheap slasher flick.
Avoid.
