These game pass changes seem like the worst thing they have done in a while. My subscription has a long time to run yet but it makes me consider my options carefully.

I get the decisions they’re making, but way to confuse everyone. Looking at that list though, the only major first party exclusives I’d miss is Starfield. I otherwise I’d probably be happy with the standard tier. I play very few Gamepass games day one.

You think they would want more people to play starfield, its not like its the same level as cyberpunk or something really well regarded
Also it creates more confusion for the average gamer when games leave gamepass with all the different tiers

it seems Darktide is staying now
Only 3 games coming for the rest of sept and only 1 is for console Wargroove 2, Ara: History Untold, and Frostpunk 2
Not very good, last few months has been meh. FP2 will be good (if my PC can run it)

I have GP ultimate till April or May 2025 but will not be extending it or doing the conversion (and thats shit now)
Will just get a month of ultimate when there is game I want to play

Meh, I’ll probably renew when mine runs out. I’m stuck in a repeating cycle where I spend a couple of months not playing any game pass games and wondering why I pay for it, then one game comes along that I’d never have discovered otherwise and makes it seem worthwhile again.
Currently it’s Core Keeper, I’d have dismissed it as some indie pixel ripoff if it hadn’t been “free” but it’s absolutely brilliant.
I’m not sure it’s that cost effective- ie if I bought every game I play rather than playing it on game pass it might work out around the same cost- but I’d never have found or tried half of those games so it still seems useful.

Also nothing for GP standard for rest of the month, anyone on that tier should get use to having at most 1 or 2 added each month or even none some months

PC Game Pass the same as standard then? Got ultimate until sometime next year I think but I don't use my Series S now. Only keeping it for the controller at the moment to use on PC so I should probably sell it really.

I’m lucky to have not even hit the point in which I’m only looking at what is coming to Gamepass. There’s still about 15 - 20 games I would like to check out at some point, if they don’t leave before I get to them.
I’m in no hurry, either. I’m almost always playing at least one game that depends on the service at all times.

but Miasma Chronicles is great if you want xcom type game that is actually fair with its combat

Oh hell yes re StarCraft. I absolutely loved star craft ale never played the sequel as by then I had binned pc gaming.
Played Sifu a bit. So far it’s a bit shit for me. I know it reviewed pretty well but I beat the first level and didn’t feel the urge to ever load it up again.
