Sure it was a worldwide code though? They definitely work, I've converted foreign subs with them as recently as 3 weeks ago for my brother. Could even grab a US code specifically from CDKeys if needs be.

WW or USA should both work in your case.

Tempted to grab a month code, so I can play Jedi Survivor during the upcoming weekend (got a couple extra days off), but if it's a big open world game, I don't suppose that would be nearly enough... and then there is Hellblade 2 coming soon as well.

There is a story mode which makes it a lot easier, its worth a play (sure you know this but you need EA play or game pass ulimate to play Jedi Survivor

Yep, I was thinking EA Play, but with Hellblade 2 also coming, it's better to just get Ultimate.

Jedi Survivor is a good 30hrs if you play it like a normal person with a blend of story missions and just going off piste and hunting for secrets and upgrades from time to time. I’ve been mainlining it for a couple of weeks now and have just reached the final area. You could knock down the difficulty a notch for faster progress if you wanted. I’ve really loved it on the third of five difficulty settings.

Does the game pass ultimate upgrade thing still work? My last 3 years is ending fairly soon.
I can't be arsed trawling through the thread, sorry.

It does but the ratio isn't as good as it used to be.

Just popped in to recommend Botany Manor if you want to play a relaxing/not taxing game where you have to grow plants in the grounds of a beautiful mansion set in the 1800's this is the game for you. The graphical style and soundscape are wonderful. I am unsure of the genre, "puzzle" game with light exploration, from the website:
Botany Manor is a first-person puzzle game set in a Victorian English manor.
It's 1890, and you play as botanist Arabella Greene, who is working to finish her botanical research book 'Forgotten Flora'. Explore a complete historical English manor and its grounds, researching how to grow rare plant specimens from seed. There are many rooms and gardens to discover, all set inside a beautiful countryside surrounding. The manor is filled with mysterious clues for you to discover, including books, posters, letters and fascinating Victorian contraptions.
The plants you grow are fantastical, but still inspired by real phenomena in nature, so some of them require you to think outside the box. Using what's available to you in the manor, you must create the ideal conditions for each plant. Room by room, you learn more about the life and career of Arabella, and the challenges she faced as a woman navigating her scientific career. Botany Manor is a relaxing and peaceful environment, feel free to stop and smell the roses.

So when I get 1 month ultimate it converts 12 core to 8? Something like that.
If you let your current subscription lapse, you must cancel it and re-subscribe to GamePass Core (formerly known as Xbox Live Gold) using prepaid codes for up to 3 years and convert the lot to Ultimate using a 1 month code to a ratio of 3:2 (3 years Core become 2 years Ultimate). Just make sure you don't have any payment options added to your account, so that it auto-renews.
If you add a Core prepaid code to an active Ultimate subscription the conversion is 3:1 (for example 3 months Core become 1 month Ultimate).

Cool!
Heard great things about Chants of Sennaar so will give that a go without a doubt. Probably Immortals too.

Played 2 chapters of Immortals of Aveum and its so average shooter (which I expected) but the characters and script are so cringe subpar marvel like quips (can't even skip the cutscenes)
so much money was spent hundreds of millions for something that is bleh

I've done the first couple of chapters as well, and yeah, so far so average. Just tutorial stuff really, so haven't got to the meat of it yet. It's biggest issue for me is the utter genericness of it all. It really does look like it's just pulled assets in from other games and stuck them together.

Anyone getting (back?) on Diablo 4? Shocked it doesn't have its own thread but there's a lot of noise about the new update being good.

Does it level scale still? I played a few hours in game pass and that felt like it ruined it for me.
