Haha, FFS, so I did... (well I did and didn't at the same time)
It's still awful even if you're not being foiled by American English spelling. Search for Yakuza for example and stickman fight game is the #2 result.
My wrong search also matched lost judgment (right at the bottom of the results of course), but not judgment somehow.

Ok, Im new to this xbox scene and still getting to grips with all these deals and what they mean. Its not so painful now that I bought Judgment on my PS5.

Downloaded Skatebird last night. It's got bags of charm and is quite funny, and pleasingly gives you loads of customisation options from the get-go. But I did find it very hard, like proper simulation hard. I thought it'd be really fun and arcadey, like how I remember the Tony Hawks games, but I just kept cocking everything up. Maybe I'm just crap.
Anyway, worth trying out. I'm gonna go back to it tonight and try and improve. And my daughter found the entire thing hilarious.

Tried Aragami 2, as looks like decent tenchu style game and looks rough as hell on the first level with very bad screen tearing &looks very 360 gen. Also can't pause the game. I know sword combat is not the main point of the game but its utter shit and the AI is over powered (frame rates does not help)

skatebird is getting some average reviews saying how rough it is, IGN video review shows a lot of the rough edges.
Started Judgement on free weekend but you would have to rush it to complete by sunday night/very early monday morning. Will wait for a sale as already played it on ps4

Superliminal is good so far. It kind of has the feel of a tech demo that was so successful they had to make a game of it (which I think is what happened)- not sure if it can stay interesting for several hours, but the opening one or two are fun.

Gave Aragami 2 another go and I do like the tenchu style gameplay (have the 1st game on GWG but never got round to it)

Had a go on I Am a Fish the other night (I do have a soft spot for cartoony puzzley games). But unfortunately I just can't play it. Unless I'm an idiot, you can't invert the Y-axis, and for a game that features a lot of underwater manoeuvring, it's borderline unplayable for me. Which is a shame as I like the idea.

Ah that's a shame, and hopefully not a trend. And you can't even set it to invert Y at system level any more these days. We're a dying breed...

Wanted to try I Am a Fish but few reviews say how fiddly the controls can be and very frustrating at times

Just finished Superliminal. It's pretty short, I completed it in a few hours and there was only one puzzle that stumped me, but it's pretty clever overall so definitely worth your time. Somehow the game bugged out and didn't recognize that I finished it, though, so the other game modes didn't unlock. Strange, but I think one playthrough is enough anyway.

Skatebird made me feel genuinely ill with it's camera issues, gave it 30 mins but that was all I could stand.

Of all the bad decisions MS made around the Xbox One launch, losing the system-level ability to manage game settings is the one that still frustrates. Considering the consumer-friendly stuff they've done in so many other areas, I wonder if this sort of thing is just not possible with the way the current consoles work.

Skatebird is an abomination. Jeez. A whole game sold on the back of a cute gimmick/play on words.
If you removed the Birdy avatar and a had a human skater it would really show just how unbelievably shit the core game is.

Really? Oh that's cool. Maybe there's a glimmer of hope for the Xbox then.
I just figured their move to an app-centric OS based on Windows had somehow hamstrung their ability to offer system-wide settings like that. But it'd be really great if they could.
Then they can go and fix the achievement system ;-)

This is true, but then it's inverted for EVERYTHING. Including cases where you really don't want it like 2d side scrollers or top-down view. There's a reason the setting is sometimes called "invert look", that's what's really needed.

Haha - that would actually work. I could have an FPS, third-person and flight-sim controller, and a top-down/sidescroll/other controller. Or I could just change the setting per-game and save myself 60 quid

Or just get a second console, then you've already got a backup when the current one expires. Not necessarily the budget solution, granted.

Sable went up this morning. Liking it so far - very chill. I think there's a better game not far from it (tech and design wise) but for a 2 man op it's pretty great.

I'd be interested to see if stays that way. The one review I've read said that it gets old very quickly. I enjoyed my time with the demo - completed as far as it would let me go. Downloaded but yet to try the full release. I hear a few complaining re: framerate and animation quality. I though the animation was intentional and had seen some choppy frame rates but iirc this is a Unity-based game? Often see issues but perhaps that is more down to it being an economical environment for smaller devs that doesn't get the same optimizations as the in-house engines?
The old place seemed to enjoy it. The cartography thread/'carrer' in this sounds right up my street. I always spend more time rooting through open-worlds than playing the story out. GTA IV, V, RDR, FC3 all stand testament to that.

I played the demo during the summer and thought it was very pretty and had a really cool, chill atmosphere. Unfortunately I can't see myself finding the time to get lost in another pseudo-RPG, although I do think I'd enjoy it.

From the TA review opening paragraph:
At its best, Sable channels an incredible sense of awe and wonder, sending us on an open-ended rite of passage through its truly remarkable world. At its worst, though, Sable can feel unpolished, dull, messy, and, on occasion, even genuinely uncomfortable to look at. It starts out strong with its striking art style and tantalising freedom (hence why I enjoyed the Summer Game Fest demo so much), but the longer the adventure goes on, the more things like the glitchy climbing, rough performance, and barren landscapes start to grate, like grains of sand pouring into your boots and bits to make an otherwise enjoyable outing increasingly unpleasant. I absolutely adored Sable at times, and couldn't stand it at others — it's a game all about the journey, and good lord, does it ever take you on one.
