I’m just in the park with the dog. There’s a small group of young boys, probably aged 10 or so, playing football. One of them is wearing a full Ronaldo 7 Al-Nassr kit. I shouldn’t be annoyed that kids now view football as a vehicle for celebrity rather than a sport, but I am.

That does my head in. In my last job we outsourced specific stuff to our office in India and half of my teams chats were like that. If you're messaging me to ask something, just fucking well ask it in the same line that you said "Hi" on.

Looking at the the 7 Sisters region of India on a map irks me. It's a substantial area that's bigger than the UK but it's just connected to the rest of the India by a relatively thin corridor. It just looks like it might snap off.
It would irk me less if it was an actual exclave.

Really either India should give it to Bangladesh or Bangladesh should be absorbed into India.
There would totally be zero geopolitical issues or upset with either of those ideas, and it would look nicer on a map.

Er, of course there would be upset. People would not be able to get on their high horse about how an Indian restaurant they are referring to, is actually Bangladeshi don’t ya know and not really Indian.
Other than that though, your spot on I reckon.

They should have placed snipers on top of the stands during the Euros to take out all the wazzocks gurning when they see their mush on the big screen.
Would curtail people running onto the pitch with phones sharpish as well

People who keep saying "its not as bad as people say/make out" - what they really mean they disagree with the comment or review but lack the skill to say why some else's opinion is wrong
Also when people say remake when they mean remaster (or vice versa)
