I saw an article on how rank air dryers are, especially the Dyson ones about 10-15 years ago and have been a back-of-my-jeans guy ever since. Just give your hands a quick wash after you dry them.

I also try to open the bog door with my little finger on the part of the handle I think people are likely to have touched the least.

Always obvious that those 'dippy' Dyson ones were hugely unhygienic. Paper towels all the way.
What gives me hand-dry-rage are those that don't seems to stay on for more than .5 of a second unless you jam your hands right in the nozzle.

Marketing people deciding that the best way to describe the colour of a thing is by inventing a portmanteau of two existing colours. " Greige" was bad enough, but this afternoon I read " Gilver" on a forthcoming product description, and I have now pretty much given up on the human race as a result.

where? Snapchat for meth but it'll ruin your smile & ability to chew solid food, and it turns out my late granddad's farm was the place to get guns. Was like that hot fuzz scene.

Having never really used Spotify I thought I'd give it a go as premium would actually work out as less then I spend on albums per month, and there was a free trial
Fucking hell I hate the UI, it's unintuitive and basic functions like add albums to end of queues seem squirreled away. Might not bother subbing at this rate.

I guess it's what you're used to. I installed Poweramp to play some random bits and pieces locally that I couldn't find on Spotify and that was a horribly jarring UI at first (I still don't really like it in fairness)
Could be worth trying a few alternatives like Tidal to see if you get on any better with that (more emphasis on audio quality and they give a better cut to artists)

I would just like it if selecting an artist to me directly to the discography. Not most popular or recently added, just the full discography in album order. I can just about live with this though.
And I'd just like to be able to make queues without "add to queue" setting those songs up next.

And I'd just like to be able to make queues without "add to queue" setting those songs up next. Spotify isn't really about albums. You can make it about albums, but it fights you all the way. I just wish it had separate 'play next' and 'add to (end of) queue' buttons, which might be what you mean. Otherwise, adding to queue is basically adding the song to the end of the queue, which is what's up next, so not sure how to avoid that, other than adding to a playlist instead. Other than that, i'm ok with their UI. Maybe just takes getting used to. Though the fact they change the desktop UI completely about every 6 weeks makes that rather hard.

I can't think of another app I find as unintuitive as Spotify. I hate their UI so much.

Try Apple Music. It picks up the shitty baton from iTunes and runs several laps with it.

I did briefly toy with the idea of getting my old iPod with a dead HDD back to life, but then remembered I'd have to use iTunes to manage the library. Fuck that noise!
Think I used Winamp for managing the library for a while back in the day, but that introduced its own issues.

Mediamonkey worked as well, I think. But it was probably a hassle and no idea if it'd still work these days.

I too use Spotify but hate the UI.
I think Bill is right, as someone who likes to listens to an album at a time, Spotify isn't great - plus I want original track listings, not all the deluxe versions etc. with crappy demos etc., and I can't be arsed to create my own playlists to replicate that.

I still chuckle with grim recollection when I see my bookmark folder ‘Apple Cunting iTunes’ on my browser I still use an iPod Touch in the traditional way of rip/syncing (love it when Amazon has the autorip thing on purchased CDs or LPs). It’s a faff (especially as Macs now don’t come with storage worth a hoot and I have to use an external SSD) but there’s nothing like having a really small dedicated device that doesn’t need to be tied to WiFi (thus making the battery last for days) and that doesn’t drain battery from my phone. Streaming is for background listening at work or discovery - for my own curated stuff I need to have the actual physical release and a copy of a file in an actual physical location. Nobody understands me anymore
