The wind is whistling quite loudly through some kind of hollow object or something near my house so every few seconds, for the last ten minutes, there is a noise that sounds like wood pigeons enthusiastically fucking.

Rather than "clear" the filters on our shared excels, one of my team mates *removes* the filters.

Phones are too big these days. 6" screens should not be the standard smallest size, annoying things. Very tempted to get one of those tiny uniherzt phones.

I think 6" is the perfect size. Bought an S23 recently and the size doesn't feel too great to annoy me especially as my last phone was much bigger and felt right in the hands. God this post would send inneundobot wild.

I bought a power bank recently and was just looking at the form factor and it struck me it's exactly the size of phone I want. Measuring it, if it was a phone the screen would be 5.5". I'd say even 5" would be great for me.
My current phone has a 6.5" screen and frankly it's too big, can't use it comfortably one handed.
But nope, stupid market forces mean small form factors are dead, and it pisses me the fuck off.

I've been eyeing the Pixel 9 and thinking about the Pro because I've usually had the big ones. So finding out that's going to be the Pro XL is interesting... But do I even need the Pro then.

I get why bottles come with little tethers holding the lids to the bottle, but I end up just tearing them off anyway

For at home recycling they make it much more difficult to flatten the bottle and then do the lid up without removing the lid first. It’s also more awkward to drink from as the lid tether isn’t long enough to get out of your face.

They seem like a great idea in theory and I understand why they're a necessity, but in practice they're a load of shit.
I got a costa chilled drink as part of a meal deal the other day. The consistency of the drink means some of it sticks to the inside of the lid, so you need to rip it off straight away to avoid it all going down your front when you try to drink it.
You're supposed to be able to flip it over so that the flat side is facing upwards, but that never seems to work for me and they end up getting ripped off in frustration.
