Manufacturers begin with the cheapest oils (many of which are now from genetically modified crops)—soy, corn, cottonseed or canola, already rancid from the extraction process—and mix them with tiny metal particles-usually nickel oxide. The oil with its nickel catalyst is then hydrogenated (subjected to hydrogen gas) in a high-pressure, high-temperature reactor. Next, soap-like emulsifiers and starch are squeezed into the mixture to give it a better consistency; the oil is yet again subjected to high temperatures when it is steam-cleaned, which removes its unpleasant odor. Margarine’s natural color, an unappetizing gray, is removed by bleach. Dyes and strong flavors must then be added to make it resemble butter. Finally, the mixture is compressed and packaged in blocks or tubs and sold as a health food. Not my proudest fap NGL |

The Buzz Lightyear thread. I had a look and it sounds to me like it's just suppose to be an action film that Andy watched in the Toy Story universe that the toy is based on
Like a a real kid watching a Ninja Turtles film. "It's not canon" would just mean it's not about the Buzz Lightyear toy character
I've never actually seen Toy Story though

Right, I've been rumbled.
I was mentioning in passing just how bad my mum is at stacking the dishwasher to which MrsFox took as a direct complaint against her stacking of the dishwasher abilities. She has a point but at no point did I actually criticize her, just my mother.
Now I'm called 'very particular' with 'weird habits'.

Not cleaning up my mess because it's really a filing system, or more rightly so, mildly complaining when said mess is being cleaned.
And when you are chronologically watching the Stargate series' each night then you should really watch SG1 first and Atlantis 2nd. Never Atlantis first.
Thankfully it's bed time but I have been informed that there is more and I'll be enlightened when they next occur for the next week.

When your stomach starts rumbling/growling/making loud noises when you're in a quiet office or meeting.
The more you try and focus on making it stop the angrier it gets. And it's extra awkward when someone points out how much it's rumbling and then goes silent afterwards and you can just hear the noise of your stomach.

Got a tax refund after selling my bike. A whole £7. Paid by cheque. FFS, I know I should just be grateful for the free money (I know it's not free but I wasn't expecting it so it feels like a little win) but who the fuck has time to cash cheques!? Such an outdated way of doing things.
