More progress under Kenny. 3 nil win away from home against Luxembourg.
May not be giants of the game but they beat us in march of this year. Not great for periods in the game but always the stronger team. Playing actually football and once we scored kicked on brilliantly. Another 30 pass move goal and the third was class too.
Delighted despite only finishing 3rd in the group. Bring on the nation's league.

More than similar. Rooney turned out against San Marino four times.
The difference being that when rooney played they scored five and went home after an hour but last night, they actually wanted double figures.

I still find it absolutely bonkers that the donkey kid we couldn’t give away to Millwall, who only started getting played out of desperation when Soldado was utterly terrible, is going to smash every record for England. No player has ever exceeded expectations like Harry Kane.

The amazing thing is he's still not given his dues despite being consistently excellent for ages.
There where Utd fans turning their nose up at the prospect of signing him at the beginning of the summer when he looked like leaving.
I'm not sure even when he's retired he'll get the credit he deserves.

It was very similar with Shearer. Who also doesn’t get the recognition he deserves to this day. And yet we can’t get enough of pricks with massive egos and stupid haircuts. We are broken.
