I've been playing DS OG on my aging laptop and it runs really well, sluggish tank controls notwithstanding.
Love all the sounds and whispers and creaking ... Not a fan of the screeching soundtrack.

Darn. I'm assuming it will, though. Really want to test this on the laptop... everything, from CPU to GPU to RAM, is below the minimum requirements. Oh boy.
Hopefully it will have some kind of benchmark mode too.

I would like 30fps modes to just be higher resolution and nothing else so it's easier to pick performance mode.
If I buy this (which I will) I'll now just be endlessly flicking between performance and RT mode and driving myself insane.

Quite surprised at how Iâve gone off this for now. I was well up for it but just canât get excited for it. Doesnât help that Iâve played the original through recently. Once the shiny graphics wear off Iâm just going to be playing the same game again.

Yeah, I initially thought it was more of an RE2 remake rather than a new texture pack, so itâs probably going to land on the âwhen itâs cheapâ pile. A 15 year old game is still a 15 year old game.

They have made it one whole location with no gated levels so like Derbs says they have changed a fair bit it's not a total 1:1 game but the main beats are still there to work from. |

Iâm similar to Wunty with this. I pre-ordered RE4 remake an age ago but Iâve still not pulled the trigger on Dead Space
Iâve got ÂŁ55 in gift vouchers from Xmas on my Amazon account so itâs not going to cost me much but I think Iâll just wait. Play Elden Ring until RE4
